Yeah all that, over many multiple sessions, plus .. if at all possible, of course .. a visit to the @McGolf studio where he has this really interesting Capto putter fitting system!

I am hoping that the new HQ gets finished soon; they are supposed to be getting a Puttview system that apparently does some stoke analytics.

Good morning everyone! I am working hard this morning to get my work wrapped up early so I can get on the course this afternoon. I am playing in a league event at 5:30 for 9 holes and want to get at least 9 in before that, if not 18. I need to get some solid scores posted for their MGS Championship and I've been slacking lately. I also have a 3 day 2 man tournament coming up next Friday-Sunday that I AM NOT prepared for yet! So, I will be on the track as much as humanely possible for the next week to get some things figured out in the short game, wish me luck!

Tech I won’t have, unfortunately.  I will be relying on tape measures and feel for the most part.  
 

I have six putters to test:  

Four current arsenal putters (all currently steel shafts):

My current gamer Ping Sigma G Shea H

Odyssey Metal X 1 blade

Odyssey two ball (original)

Titleist Dead Center blade (quite old)

New Additions:

Scotty Cameron Special Select Fastback 1.5 (steel shaft)

MGS #1 2023 Blade - Cleveland HB Soft Milled 1 blade with UST Mamiya All In graphite shaft

I also ordered a UST All In Retrofit shaft to put into the Scotty to try if I like the Scotty.  
 

Thinking I will test them all as-is, and assuming I like the graphite shaft, I will try it in any finalist that does not already have one.  The test will be both data- and feel/confidence-driven, to be sure.

I don’t have any other graphite shafts to try right now.  My budget is pretty blown already.

Interesting, good suggestion!   It’s only a 3 1/2 hour drive from me!  Once I narrow things down, and assuming @McGolf is willing, that would be worth a trip!

Good morning all and happy Thursday. Early start to the day today for another round of employee HRA screenings. Went to bed with a sore left shoulder/tricep last night and still there today. Stupidly pulled my fully loaded golf bag out of the back of my truck one handed last night  and it has been aching ever since. Hoping I didn't do any actual structural damage to my tricep or rotator cuff and that it'll go away in a few days. Have my annual buddies trip next week and we have 4 rounds of golf on the books. I am playing no matter what  but pain free would be much more enjoyable. Probably going to hold off on golf activities until the trip just to allow it to rest and hopefully recover.

Good morning spies,

Bowl of oatmeal down. 2nd cup being finished off. Dog walked. Dermatology visit on tap this morning. Rain this afternoon and my home course is hosting a tournament today. The run today will be on the treadmill later today. I played 9 yesterday with middling results. Post round I noticed the driver shaft I had built had shifted in the adapter. It feels solid and I can’t twist it in my hands. I wonder if the Ping adapter I bought off of eBay is of poor quality. I may have to bite the bullet and order one from Golfworks and pay $8.95 for shipping. I don’t have a shaft puller so I need to get that down locally.

Sorry to hear that.  Believe me when I say that things like this happen more frequently as you get older.  Take care now to avoid pains later.  Just sayin'

Good Morning everyone!  Hope you have a great day planned and that golf is involved.  It's a beautiful sunny day with high around 90º.  Wife is playing a guest day event at our sister course in Pasco, and I'm heading to our course for some much needed practice... maybe walk 9-holes depending on how practice goes.
