Course is closed today and tomorrow as they do their winter prep for the greens, which means smooth rolls are out of the picture for the remainder of the season. They were beginning to spread sand on the greens last night, which the boys thought was pretty cool to watch. Playing in a scramble with 3 close friends Sunday, 1 guy is a +2 capper, while me and another hover between 2-5, our anchor plays to a 15. The course scorecard says it tips out at about 6300 yards so we have our eyes on the prize, will be a great time whatever the outcome. Moving one day closer to Friday off and golfing with my uncle at a club in Madison he belongs to. If I am being honest I am incredibly excited for it as it will be my first time playing at a truly private course. The course is Nakoma Golf Club and it was founded in 1923. We've got a 10am tee time and I cannot wait to get down there. Pretty standard day at work ahead of me today, and then tomorrow I will be off-site all day for a health fair.
