Popular Post skraeling
much better morning today for myself. Had both flu and updated covid shot on tuesday.... proceeded to have my ass handed to me by my immune system for the next 24+hrs. Still played golf yesterday though haha. Im dumb. Seriously... drove in to work with my car heater on full blast the entire way (the chills and aches were hardcore). Also I think I might sell that 12* head I bought as I played that round with my 10.5* cranked up one notch to ~11.25? Anyhow... I was BANGING balls with the driver (for me anyway). Impressive considering how damn sore I was. Played my worst round of the year, but I wasnt in my best condition either so mostly just wanted to hit balls haha. cksurfdude, sirchunksalot, GolfSpy_BEN and 10 others 13 Quote Driver - Sim2Max 10.5° (set at 9*) UST Helium shaft 3W - StealthHL 16.5° 3h - Sim2max 19° irons - Sim2OS kbsmax85mt steel shafts reg flex 5i-Aw wedgies - Jaws MD5 52°-10° (Bounce) S Grind Jaws MD5 56°-12° (Bounce) W Grind Putter - Mizuno OMOI Type II VENTUS Velocore+ review Stack Referral code Final Sugar "Pure" Golf Balls Review
Popular Post GolfSpy_KFT
Good Thursday morning fellow spies! Sleep was hard to come by last night as I felt just awful in the middle of the night for some reason. Sick to my stomach awful . That paired with a 6am start to the day has not been a fun combo. Pretty normal Thursday ahead and going to get out of work in time to get my oldest son picked up from school, then planning on getting up to the range and putting green for some work before tomorrow's round with my uncle as they do not have a driving range at his club, just a short game area. Highs should touch the 60s, so a nice fall day, but the end of the season is rapidly approaching. Will have to miss out on this week's community call, but since I'll be working on golf, it doesn't make me feel as bad. Popular Post cksurfdude
Good Morning! .. or .. Happy Friday Eve!! Clear and chilly here this morning .. down in the 40s but already warming up a bit as the sun gets higher. I also see some golf balls getting hit in the forecast .. tho it's still unclear at this time if it will be more practice, which of course is always needed, or try to play 9 holes? Seems like it's been a while since I've been on the course... Or maybe a little of both .. heck whatever any golf is good golf right? Played well for the most part, but its colder and in truth I am just ready for this season to not be over but looking forward to not playing as much and working on some other aspects of my game. It was a great season and I am so happy to have shared it with the community this season. On a non golf note neither kid wanted to sleep last night so I ended up sleeping through about 3 alarms and thankfully got to work ontime to get things done, but really feel dragged. Raining today and this weekend so good time to relax a little bit get some other stuff done! I know the feeling about the season being over and moving into what I call "the silly season" frees up our swing a bit to work on some stuff we have been thinking about eh? enjoy the off season. Popular Post Jim Shaw
Good morning spy's A definite Jekyll and Hyde day on the links yesterday. Played impeccably for the 1st 10 holes, 8 pars 2 birdies, that was the good part. Finished 6 over the next 8 holes for a smooth 76. Am trying to take the good and focus on that, and learn from the bad. The usual critique meathod... Won't play again now until Monday so will stew on this over the weekend. Get up and personal…. real close…. and whisper “Hi, I like your shoes”….. it works every time….promise. Weekend is coming and I have already started to increase the number of useless swing thoughts in my head. That way, I am sure to narrow things down and can correct it all on the course, during play. Dead Solid Bogey
Well..It’s Thursday and not morning, other than that, all I am relatively certain of is that Wednesday was a whirlwind of activities that evidently didn’t mesh well. Wednesday started with the “ Bride Person “ seemingly having forgotten about the deadly silent drive home the day before. The “SHE being” was chipper and talking enthusiastically about planning the girl getaway. I left the house with a mixture of hope and fear. The hope was that the prospect of new wedges and irons was still a big time possibility. The fear comes from being married to someone whose maiden name was Svengali… Never know what the female leader is really up to until it’s too late… How do you think I ended up married. Got to the course and had a heart to heart with the old bag ( The GOLF one ). Told some of the squatters in the bag that there was a very good likelihood that there would be some forced evictions in the not to distant future. That did nothing for the day’s golf round. Almost all the clubs were either indecisive, indifferent, or inept in their efforts at shot making. Retired to the 19th hole to analyze the wife’s behavior and lack of functionality in my golf game…. Let me just state that the situation stayed “ fluid “ for many, many hours. So much so, that when I awoke, I was still dressed for golf from the day before and it was warm. It was warm because it was afternoon and I was in my truck in the club’s parking lot. Fortunately I had been cognizant enough to not to try to drive. Wife called and said I better come home as a livestock delivery had been made to the house. While I was pondering her statement I found a receipt in my pocket for the purchase of a Border Collie. Got home and took one look at the collie and knew it was going to be a long , long night of recriminations at the home of her highness. My valued, respected, and good fellow spies; all I advise is that you take this pro tip for whatever it maybe worth. Oh FRIDAY, Friday, Friday where are you…I have to go now and take “ Bossy “ for an evening constitutional. Popular Post EasyPutter
Good morning MGSpies from wet and wonderful WNY on this ends the first third of October Friday already deep in digits on the network with some difficult magic being worked coffee definitely helping. Had a great round yesterday with regular playing partners on our course taking the MGSpies on the Community Call with us, not lots of sound but funny how Jamie as commentator wasn't using a hushed voice when I was hitting fairway hybrid (perhaps incorrectly chosen as I was in fact a few feet right of the fairway) that flew the shot again right of the fairway Tee time this afternoon may give way to the rain (shocking I know) as I have another one tomorrow afternoon in a similar forecast with a friend we have not been able to get a round in together for the past many months. Interesting historical note, today in 2006 was when the Buffalo area was starting to dig out from an unseasonably early heavy snowfall fondly remembered as The October Surprise Storm that took down trees, limbs and power lines knocking out power across the area. Leaves still on the trees was the culprit making a monumental cleanup that took a week to clear (the rug and basement contents that were in flood water at the curb). It was 10 years before the trees lost that damaged look with new growth. Hope golf is a part of your day!
