Our course is an International Audubon Society golf course and it is illegal for anyone to harass the birds.  We are not supposed to chase them with our carts, and dogs are not allowed on course.  The best we can do is shoo them off the goose-poopy tee box.  It's about time for the goslings to start showing up; we have some white nanny geese that come in to help take care of the little ones.

Woke up to a snowfall. Well, at least the coffee’s warm.

I’m toying with the idea of finding an indoor golf place. One nearby now offers a monthly, part-time membership at a pretty good deal.

I'm a fan, for what it is. I've logged about 50 hours on Trackman now and it's starting to lose it's luster to pay a membership. I will likely use up my remaining stored hours and save the money now Spring has almost sprung.

Good Saturday morning all! It's a cool, crisp morning with no rain in the forecast. I'm spending the morning at work due to some unforseen problems at work during the week causing us to make up a little work on an off day. I was coming in anyway to help out with finish, but producing on Saturday isn't ideal.

My allergies are clearing up, so I've at least got some energy. The coffee also helps. Might take a trip after work to the golf shop and just browse around with a friend of mine. 

I hope everyone's weekend gets off to a great start.

Good morning on a beautiful snowy white Saturday morning in WNY  like clockwork we got our Friday winter weather that should keep ski country to the south well supplied with skiers.  Son is running in the 45th anniversary Old First Ward Shamrock Run and I've got session 5 of 6 PGA HOPE late afternoon.  Hope everyone has a great day and may golf be a part of yours too 

Significant is the snow is all sticking to the east side of the trees.

Gonna be busy, finished coffee SWMBO made scrambled eggs & English muffin.  Next going to take care of a colony of feral cats she takes care of then cart ride to Craft show.   
SWMBO is involved with ASPCA and local no kill shelters.

Missed G'morning by 8 minutes. Oh well, good afternoon here.

Looks iffy. My plan is to drive to Howell Park at 12:30 ish and scope out how wet it is. Thinking it's far enough west, what I'm seeing is coastal flood notices.  2pm when the twilight time starts leaves ample time to walk 18 if it's not crowded. If it is crowded or wet I will do some food shopping and only be 25 mins from home so not much waste of gas even if I don't play. 

Will likely go to Quail Ridge and hit balls of that's the case.

Similar freaky animal noise... If anyone travels to Costa Rica, or other nearby region, where Howler Monkeys are common .. try not to be alarmed in the mornings when they're jumping around in the trees overhead and, well, hhoowwlliinngg .. crazy sound!!

(..and yes I've heard coyotes at night, too!)

To follow on, also Puerto Rican goats have a particular accent that sounds even more like they stubbed their toe and/or are being thrown off a high cliff.

My Aunt lives in the mountains about 25 minutes from Rincon across the street from a goat farmer.

A wee bit past the morning but a top of the afternoon to y'all. Had family in last night so managed a great big breakfast with a gift of bourbon infused coffee. Hope the Saturday is going well!

Hey early riser people - don't forget to switch clocks to DST before you go to bed .. so you'll know the right "new" time in the morning..! 

Ironically, maybe, I get up b/w 5-6 (usually around 5 tho) on the weekends to let poochie out and give him his breakfast. He has his "comfort humans" well-trained and on schedule..!

I still have a few weeks till i need to do this for mine, but still good for me to know!

GM--- It really has not messed me up yet because basiclly I go to bed when I want to and get up whenever. I am in the process of getting ready for Church. I am pulling a double again today and have to be there like 8 AM to do the test out and set up for both services. Little chilly with rain coming so I have a small fire in the stove going

Played the Shootout yesterday and played the graphite shafted TMs. Absolutely no pain and stiffness yesterday or this AM.

Similar for me this year. Just got back on Friday from a trip to SC: so I went Eastern Time Friday morning, into Central until last night, and (functionally) back to Eastern today. So I'm just floating an hour right now.

Always fun to be a pastor on time change Sunday. Curiously, the pattern is that no one forgets to set their clocks back in the fall...

Good morning everyone! It's a rainy, cool Sunday morning here so I'm relaxing on the couch with my coffee as the animals get some rest on my lap. You would think they don't sleep at night the way they're all passed out on me.

The time change will take a little bit to get used to, I can honestly say I don't like having to get up at what was 2 a.m. when Monday rolls around. I'm going to guess there will be a few people that'll show up late for work tomorrow.

Good morning on a cold and chilly DST Sunday morning  

UK friends, the cold and chilly was on a photo post on FB this morning of The Shambles in York.  My intuition and memories of family things said is cold is the temperature and chilly is the effect on the skin/body/bones and would appreciate help to make sure I understand it correctly.

Had a great late afternoon on the simulators with PGA HOPE yesterday using Foresite to smash windows on the greenhouse but found it messed up my timing (only 30 seconds for each of the 4 sides) while being another Vet's Caddy placing the ball for him, he was able to get 5 balls "into the glass" in those 30 seconds putting him into 2nd place.  I played it twice and beat my 9th place score by 110 points to capture 8th and 9th places  lol

Porridge (oatmeal for my American friends) with Lyle's Golden Syrup this morning and Lady Grey black tea just to put some variety into the morning brew for a Sunday morning
