Tom the Golf Nut
Back when I was in high school, I developed allergies to pollen, ragweed, and grass. It was so bad the school nurse would call my mom telling her she thought I was on drugs and to come take me home (I wasn't just to be clear). I actually had to carry around a doctor's note after that. My eyes were so red I looked possessed. Then 20 years to the month later it all just went away. For the majority of my life I had never had problems with allergies. Then all of a sudden one fall, we were at my in-laws cabin and my eyes were just unbearably itchy. I think it was probably 5 or so years ago? It was right around when our first son was born. Anyways, I thought that I just had something stuck in my eye, never thought about allergies since I had never had problems in the past. I'm afraid I'll be stuck with them for forever, but who knows. All I know is it's a major PITA because my two favorite hobbies (golf and archery) are outdoor sports and whitetail archery season starts in September.
