Good Morning!  Bad night last night.  It was 54º at 9pm but winds were howling.  We got a doorbell ring at 10pm; it was the City wanting to get to the power pole in our backyard (gate locked).  Our electricity is underground, but there is a pole in our yard that feeds somewhere else.  Apparently the breaker tripped.  It usually goes off with a bang like a big firecracker when a squirrel gets fried, but we heard nothing.  Winds were 30mph with gusts to 50mph.  This was posted this morning...

Get ready you guys in the midwest and east... we are headed for temps in the teens and rain/snow for the next few days, so you will get after us.  Now I have to take my car in for a service; something that I never had to schedule... just walk in and wait.  I made this appointment 2 weeks ago, and I'm going to stand there and wait in front of them to get in back... they wanted it all day to do an oil change!!

Well February vacation. Worked yesterday took the rest of the week off. Sitting not doing anything today just having my coffee and toast. Going to head to a a trampoline park in a little while with the kids and a few day trips the rest of the week. Gotta love it

Wednesday is my "day off"... I normally end up going into work anyway, but most importantly it is swimming lesson day with Ivan. We had awesome day, some dunking and jumping and I think he only drank half the pool. Then a nice long 3 hour nap and soon now some MGS fun work before soon heading Ikea and a few other stores for some home kit.

Catchup day having had the weekend off plus Monday for US Presidents Day holiday and Tuesday off to extend my Monday birthday for one more day.  Email jail was not too bad but the follow-up is adding an 'exciting' burden to this Wednesday edition of workweek: the next one already started

I feel this in my bones Berkeley. The white stuff is flying with reckless abandon in Wisconsin, as predicted. And as predicted, it's putting a dampener on my mood!

The high winds are down to ONLY 15-20mph and now I have to shovel my driveway... when it stops snowing around noon!!!!!

Early morning today as my dog woke up even before I did. She did let me make a cup of coffee but then insisted that I continuously throw the ball for her. Since it's Wednesday, it's golf at our sister club here in Sun City Center, Fl.  Club Renaissance which is right outside our development and after 18, all of the guy's wives join us for dinner at the clubhouse. 

But before I head out I decided to print out my accountants doc's for filing taxes - &%$#@# the printer is out of ink - guess that'll wait til tomorrow.

Just like my mom.  Dad and I drank it black.  Only in the last few years do I add Baileys or Kirkland Irish Cream, but I still like a really good espresso.
