What's up spies, and good morning. Last night got in a quick round in a simulator with @Erin B hopefully over the off season we can learn to please the simulator gold gods....rough I tell yea.

Wyoming 50 degree days are far and few from here on out. So this morning I am heading to Greeley Colorado for a round at Boomerang links and I am stoked. Never played it before and the weather should shape up very nicely.

Good morning, Spies!! Happy Second Monday!

It's a wonderful morning here. Temps in the low 60's with clouds and sunshine. So I can't really complain. Having the windows open in the evening is one of the things I love about this time of year. Listening to the wind blow the trees around and the leaves rustling. Yes, a 4:38pm sunset sucks but I'm enjoying the 6:06am sunrise. During the winter, I do like I have light each morning when the alarm goes off. Having lived in places where it's pitch black still at 6:45am sucked. So I'm not going to complain, at least not at the moment. I reserve the right to ****** about the early sunsets later on. 

Work's picked up a bit, which is ok. Makes the days feel less long and dragged out. Although the holiday break will be a welcomed site.

Anyway, everyone have a fantastic day!

Other stuff, like ice fishing or cross-country skiing, was too cold. Ice fishing, your hole in the ice froze over too fast. Cross-country skiing, my eyes would tear up and freeze shut.

Good morning!  We have had a lot of rain the past few days.  It's like Mother Nature is trying to make up for a dry October.  Hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

Good Tuesday morning All!

Rain came with a vengeance yesterday, apparently trying to make up for the missed time this summer. Lot of run off which led to flash flood warnings in areas close to creeks. Nothing serious reported so that is a good sign. Will be working GC duties this afternoon and I imagine the majority of time will be spent reminding folks that it is cart path only. Supposed to dry up later this afternoon until Thursday so should be fine for the regular senior battle of the week.

I agree with @Josh Parker when it comes to temps that cold - just plain 'ol hell no!

Good morning & happy Tuesday Spies!  Another busy day on the workfront, so I don't see golf on the horizon anytime soon - however, did get confirmation that we will be in Oregon the week between Christmas & New Years, which means I get a day at Bandon!  Targeting Pac Dunes & Trails for the day - excited to get back there!

@Cfhandyman. While not in Canada, when I lived in northern NH, there always seemed to be one. Bob-house that would never make it on shore before the season was up. So watching them tow it back in with jetskis or a small boat was always fun.

@Erin B I hope the pain gets better soon. I had the shingles the first time when I was 15 and 6 more times between the ages of 16 and 22 and went over 10 years without issue but it hit once more last February. I have broken bones and my nose playing sports and will take that any day over the shingles. The only thing that really helped was gabapentin to help with the nerve pain, but there's still not a truly effective treatment for such other than time and the anti-viral meds they prescribe. 

Finally got some checks released for hurricane damage, so have to go to Lowes soon to order some new appliances and get a quote to repair the gutters. Have a big tree and a stump that needs to be removed so the majority will go to that I would say.

First day with some passing rain showers today--first time in a month. I am hoping it goes into the weekend so can walk some holes for on-course testing with the Galway Bay rain gear. My wife is out of town this weekend so will have to take the little one out if I can but her stroller has some pretty good rain coverage.

I’m on gabapentin but it hasn’t kicked in yet. The type of shingles I have is all internal. No blisters, and this is the third time I’ve had it in 10 years. I would not wish this on anyone. This is probably the worst pain I’ve had. It took me an hour just to get ready for work this morning, just to have them send me home. Standing in line to vote was crazy painful. Hope to feel better soon.

Happy Tuesday all!  It's already about 35* warmer outside now than it was yesterday at this time.  I wish I wasn't so busy at work and could get some swings in on lunch, but that's unlikely for me today.  

Looking forward to the weekend though as we're taking Jackson on a trip for his birthday.  We figured the 10th birthday was a big one that we could do something special and leave the siblings home.

Played an early 9 this morning.  Hit the ball well except driver, just have no confidence.  Don’t know what’s going on but not happy.  Putting and chipping were great kept my head in the game.

Good morning! I'm feeling back to normal today, from the flu, after finally having a full day of normal food yesterday. I even had a nice workout this morning.

I was hoping to get a 9-hole round in today with the higher that normal temperatures in my area. A couple of pop-up meetings, voting taking longer than expected and the wind have squashed that effort for today. 

I hoping tomorrow is still nice because I have a decent sized calendar opening and I'd like to be on-course during that time!

Thanks brother! I’m hoping after this bout that I can get the new vaccine and never ever experience this again. I don’t recall ever being in this much pain. On the bright side, or whatever side, the shingles I ge doesn’t have blisters. It’s all internal, all three times so at least I don’t look horrible.

I had quite the morning while still on paternity leave and took our oldest out for a nice round of fall golf. It really warms my heart how interested she is in the game at such a young age. This is definitely a core memory for me. Helps that it’s 72 and sunny in early November too!

Well the pucker factor was a tad high last night...  That was.... too close for comfort.  Thank god the news finished the sports segment though before cutting over to tell me where the hell it was.  Like FFS... the sirens are going OFF right now... I dont give a s*** about college sportsball right this moment.

I was on gabapentin for about 3 weeks after I got out of the hospital when I had my accident. That stuff made me numb which was good at the time. I see how people get addicted to that stuff. In those days my theme song was Tom Petty "Learning to Fly". I did not want to become an addict so I refused the last prescriptions. I do not really drink alcohol anymore so I went the CBD and left-handed Marlboro route. I have basically healed up (we will see with cold weather coming on) and I have not done neither for 6 months now. To be frank I loved gabapentin and I was lucky because I loved it too much. Please be careful with that stuff

A few years back we had a hurricane coming in and as usual for safety sake they did updates. Some of the people here raised holy hell because the updates were interrupting the ball game. Boy the Chief Meteorologist was pissed. He went on Social Media and on TV and let them have it. Of course most of us backed him 110% and he is now going on his 30th year at that station.
