The Good Morning Thread

Day 3 of the week where everything gets thrown off because of a holiday that falls in the middle.  PGA tour on in the background, catching up on the forum, and heading to MGS tonight for my last hybrid testing session.  
 

It was busy at HQ last night; most everyone was there, planning the future of MGS and marking balls for the ball testing that starts in a couple of weeks.  I was talking with one of the other testers who was there practicing and just watching him showed me how much improvement I need in my game.   Makes me want to find and create a place that I can practice all the time.

Good morning. Nothing eventful planned for today other than my normal coffee routine. Mediocre round for league last night so looks like some range time is in my future this weekend before playing again next week. In the process of finishing up my final review for the Bag Boy Nitron and should have that done later tonight. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Spies! 

Another beautiful morning in Central Florida. 80 degrees at 7:30am, 3 mile walk a little warm.  No golf yesterday, torrential rains started around 4pm, at least 1 1/2 inches.  If rain holds off today, plan on getting to range. On 2nd cup of coffee, working from home!

Good morning, Spies!

I got to play a leisurely 18 yesterday afternoon in the heat (which was good for my back), and played pretty well.  Like @Rickp I had a close call, not for an ace, but just missed the eagle with this 130 yard PW into the wind.  It felt so pure, spun back just past the hole, and my playing partner said he didn't even hear the club hit the ball it was so soft.  Those are rare for me, and definitely the ones that keep me coming back.    (Maxfli Tour S ball btw.)

Great morning!

Played the round of my life on Monday and it’s all I can think about. Never broken 90 before and then just obliterated it. I’m sure this means I’ll shoot over 100 next time out, but man I’ll be searching for this feeling for the rest of my golf life.

Good morning everyone! Just put my latest score into GHIN and now am playing at a 13, down from a 26 6 months ago! The past couple of weeks have been super busy and I have been traveling so I am ready to settle back down for a bit and get more practice in. The good news of the week is that one of my close friends just joined the country club I am a member at, so now we can play together much more frequently! Looking forward to less solo early evening rounds coming up in the future! 

On another note, I am about to be in NYC for work for a week. If anyone has any golf related tips/attractions let me know! Have a day!

Good late Morning everyone!  Got up early, but had some early honey-dos.  

I keep losing stuff!  Each year it seems to get worse.  Yesterday, I decided it was time to replace my Callaway PM Grind 60º wedge; the club I use for most all shots within 50 yards of the green including bunkers.  Fortunately, I bought a new one on sale at our clubhouse a couple of years ago... dang if I can find it!!  It's probably with the MacGregor 8i head that I haven't been able to locate for 6 months!  I removed the head from the shaft and have been waiting to put a new shaft in it.  I have the old shaft, but I must have put the head someplace for safe keeping.    Things disappear, but eventually show up when I'm looking for something else.

The PXG ball comes in any color you want as long as it’s white. 
So far I’m pretty happy with them.

Good morning all! Happy Friday and I hope today marks the start of a good weekend for y'all.

I have to work tomorrow to make up for being off Monday. The extra day was nice, but now that I'm staring down producing cars in a Saturday for straight time is a bummer.

I am looking forward to finishing off my mini golf round tomorrow and getting to spend that time with my wife and some good friends.

Happy Friday spies!!! I only had a three day work week but I can officially say I’m toast. Looking forward to some rest this afternoon along with some club cleaning to get ready for a four person best ball tournament tomorrow. This will be a first for me and it’s at a course that I’m unfamiliar with. Fingers crossed.

GM & Happy Friday!!!  We have a 7am Tee Time but it’s raining right now supposed to let up by 6:30.  It rained off and on all afternoon yesterday so hope rainy season has arrived.  
Some of the Boyz are already Texting and want to skip golf and go directly to the diner.  That doesn’t sound that bad.

Good morning, Spies!

A gorgeous day is on tap in Indy.  Sunny and mid-80s.  After a morning at work, I am looking forward to 18 with friends early afternoon, then dinner and a night out with FABWIFE and crew.   It’s a bit slow at work.  The whole city seems to be on vacation.  
 

My buddy and I have vowed to informally caddy for each other today to try to go low with scores.  That should make the day even more fun, and more interesting.

Good morning Spies on a no commute but work from home Friday. Already have been working since 5:30AM to get data pulled from customer systems so I can get my information updated and passed to those who need it for daily work activities. Later start for me on the forum, but it should mean that I can  get my real world work completed by 1:00PM and then make my tee-time scheduled for 2:00PM.

Picture perfect weather today, sunny, about 80 and low humidity. 

Make your day the best it can be, no matter what is on the agenda, and if golfing, may the scores be low, and the fun and enjoyment high!

Top of the pot spies .  Finally a day off from playing golf...whewww .  Nothing planned really except taking River out for his morning walk/run, heading to the rec center for my workout, and maybe trying a new Chinese resteraunt that the neighbors recommended.  While picking up a few grocery items yesterday, we happened to hit Fry's 25% off the standard buy 6 or more mix-n-match wine sale... and walked out with a $267 bill... $20 of which was groceries .  Have a great Friday whatever you have planned.

Good morning everyone, another hot one here, kids and wife are off at the week and my wife surprised me with another date afternoon after one yesterday. I am very lucky, and she has suggested we go golfing, or more I golf she walks along for nine. Hope the weather stays clear as I would love this. She might be in for more than she bargained for though, if I go low she will have to come along for every round. Have a great Friday everyone!

Relaxing outside with Riley after our morning walk. My first cup is going down nicely. ️ Church golf league tonight if the weather holds off.
 

Has MGS ruined cheap golf balls for everyone as well? I was at Dick’s yesterday. I picked up a cooling towel, which I could have used earlier. (They were buy one get one free BTW). The guy ahead of me was buying inexpensive 2 piece golf balls. And all I could think of was “don’t do it! Sure they are cheap but are poorly made and dont perform well.”
