Good Mornjng-

Had a great lesson with my son yesterday, my first in decades. The only big adjustment was on my backswing which was more of a tweak than a change. Have a lot of work to do in order to get this to become more comfortable but should be able to get that ingrained over the next couple of weeks. The bigger adjustment will be my tendency to bring my arms in on the downswing causing a more aggressive draw or even hook. I already played a slight draw before so will have a big task ahead to smooth out my transition to contact. Just means more time in the range this summer, lol.

Morning Spies! Home with a sick kiddo today. Running a fever but otherwise doing fine. Doc McStuffins and jammies on the couch for her today.

Yup, know the area well.  We had a condo in the 90’s in Surfside Beach and loved it there.  We were partial to the Murrels Inlet restaurants.  Played Big Stu’s course often along with Indian Wells and a few others.  
A great area to winter and yes MB can be nuts.  Was there for Bike Week once!

G'morning Spies. The coffee is going down slowly, it is scalding hot today for some reason. I need to wake up and shake the cobwebs, my tee time at Bey Lea GC is a couple hours earlier than the twilight times I'm used to. It was a compromise, as Dad prefers to play earlier 10am ish, we settled on the closest to noon we could get. Air quality is better than yesterday, but we will see if it's bad we may only play 9.

Been bit of a crazy week here in New York.  The picture below is from my office yesterday afternoon.  Truly wild stuff.  Hopefully it clears before the weekend and I feel comfortable going out to play some golf!  Hope you all have golf on the agenda today!

Hah got you beat by a looong shot! ..we moved in 9 years ago and my garage is *still* a total disaster! But hey at least I have room to swing a club and get my boards in and out

Skies around here are much improved vs yesterday .. got freaky dark and ominous! ..but still not 100% clear ... so did some indoor exercise and packed up for the MGS Pinehurst Meetup. Hopefully everyone who wanted to go can make it to another one in the near future!!

Think I'm gonna forgo range or course time today .. don't want to risk breathing in too much more of that stuff before the trip...

Imagine the beaches are nice? Only 4-5 hrs drive, may look at a weekend ther to see what it’s like.

This just screams post apocalyptic to me. Truly crazy to think about the impact that a natural disaster so far away can have on other regions. Hoping all of our NY MGS'ers are staying safe. I thought we had it bad in WI with air quality levels in the 160s over the weekend..

Labradoodle. He's the friendliest and gentlest dog.  Loves everybody and everything. Doesn't shed like our lab did

Catalina 22, Mk 1 1980 blue hull white deck, swing keel, pop top, kickup rudder, lifelines on side stantions but did not have a pushpit rail so fitted aft stantions and lifeline around the cockpit.

Rigged for single handing and extended cruising.

Crazy that it was even hazy down here in Middle North Carolina and when you walked outside you could smell the smoke in the air. We had warnings come up on our phones to stay inside yesterday.

Only one day left here then get to head back to Midwest hell temps.

the good news though is I’ll be ending it on a high note and playing mamala bay gc in about 2hrs.

This is right across from Pearl.  Should be nice.  How many penalty strokes is it if you slice it into a 777 or F22?

Nice! We've sailed the great lakes for about 35 yrs. Started out in a 17' Holder cuddy cabin (made by Hobie Cat), then progressed  through several sailboats til we bought our final one , a  42 Beneteau in 2009. Sold it in 2017 as sailing began to compete with golf.  I miss sailing/cruising but don't miss the maintenance and the $$$.
