Annual St. Patrick’s Day party at our house today.  Nana is going to be cooking around 30lbs of Corned Beef plus all the fixings.

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday and I hope y'all have an enjoyable weekend. I'm just taking it easy right now drinking my coffee before making some breakfast later. It's going to be a taking care of the wife weekend, she's a bit under the weather and I'm going to do what I can to bring some sunshine into her life. 

We're going to make waffles later on today, I got a craving for them after seeing @GolfSpy_BOS post about them the other day.

Good morning on a late winter looking WNY Saturday that started with that bally grapple snow that really fits the term snow shower, that became lazy clumpy flakes that have gotten smaller and starting to move across as they descend with wind picking up and sunshine working its way between broken clouds.  Snow clouds are lower elevation things so when they get smaller they get brighter until the sun streams through the breaks. Should move on past us later this morning.  Breaks are gone, steady snowfall perfect for Christmastime.  Happy St. Patrick's Day weekend 

Okay that was maybe way too much but from the calendar it is going to become a rare event soon (You hear me Mother Nature?!!! Sorry just kidding! hehe Some golf weather please??)  Forecast holds 20-30mph wind, gusting Force 8 on the Beaufort Scale. 

Hot orange pekoe in the mug.  Looking forward to PGA HOPE session 6 of 6 at WildWood CC in Rush NY indoors this afternoon.

Morning spies! Looks like a great weather day even though a cold front is moving in for a couple of days - 18 hole couples golf starting at 12:00. today - we're all still recovering from yesterday's St. Patty's day party so it'll be interesting out there.

GM everyone!  Sore left elbow today; I’ve had so many different aches and pains that I’m starting to repeat them!!  Had this before, and it didn’t last very long so hoping for the same.  It’s supposed to be sunny today and high around 64º, and we have a 10am tee time.  Waiting for my second cup of coffee to be delivered to me in bed.

Good Saturday Morning Folks

 

Double header baseball games today starting at noon. Weather looks like it's going to hold on and be a nice day with high temp in the mid 60's. 

I am really hoping the rain holds off tomorrow as I am supposed to play golf. Weather app says 80% chance which means it's going to rain we just don't know how much or how hard.

morning everyone

To follow up on yesterday's gm my daughter did very well at the heptathlon. She broke her college schools record for the most points earned at a meet by 138 points which is a good amount. She is a sophomore, so she has another two years to go. I think she will only get better. There were a ton of colleges there and she was coming in 4th place in a lot of events. I'm so impressed with her abilities and holding a straight A average. 

I submitted my Cobalt Q6 review this morning. So, I'm in golf mode again. My course is closed for open play today due to some qualifying rounds for a college event. But the weather is kind of crappy anyway. Tomorrow bright sunshine and in the 50's.

I was at the Portland Golf show and Cobalt had a booth. being inside it was very clear and had nice sized digital numbers I could read. Heading over to read your review. 

Congrats to your daughter with both the points  and even better her grades. My daughter play lacrosse in college and I know her struggles in keeping up with grades and team commitments. All we can do is be the supportive parents and enjoy watching our kids become functioning adults. 21 years went by WAAAAAAYYYY to fast.

Happy 5 min past noon, g'morning thread. I can't pass up 52° and light wind, going to walk on at Concordia GC in Monroe Twp. It's in a residential community, played here 2 other times. $25 walking rate is very reasonable for the course, and I don't have to wait until the twilight when the discount starts at the County courses.

My niece plays Lacrosse for Campbell University. I go to some of her games. Dam rough sport if you ask me. She is their leading scorer. Every time I watch them play, I’m thankful my daughter went the track route. I hope your daughter doesn’t get beat to crap.

She might know Sam Bischoff then. She is a Junior but pretty well known in the Lacross arena.

Not sure she knows any of the lacrosse players;  based on our discussions she only knows a few of the athletes.  She is a nursing major and that consumes most of her time.

She plays Middie and defense, she gets beat up. I think it’s kind of her fuel tho. It’s quick moving game always something going on.

I know it's not morning, but I finally got my waffles! It was a bit of a challenge because the top part of the waffle maker wasn't heating right. Had to flip them and actually ruined one that stuck to the top. It was so worth it, they're delicious!
