I already have a Roku device on every TV anyway .. started using one many years ago .. and their screens seem to compare very favorably on features and price vs other brands' smart TVs. @Jnoble89 Congrats!! on the PB and enjoy your trip!! @ejgaudette @skraeling @Ben Joest hope whatever you caught is minimal and brief .. and not whatever knocked me off my feet... Popular Post Byrnzee
Good morning all! I've been a bit absent from the forum this past weekend as I was traveling and celebrating my bachelor party. But I'm back home now and getting back into the swing of things. Was essentially the perfect weekend until the airline forgot to put my golf clubs on the plane back home. Headed out there this afternoon to grab them and hopefully have everything unharmed. Coffee in hand as I try to remember how to function as a normal member of society. Have a great day! Popular Post jbern
Good morning! Got back from a vacation last week and it was one of the best "reset" vacations I have ever had. A lot of hiking, views, good food and good weather. I was able to get 9 holes in over the weekend and it was one of the cleanest/smoothest rounds I've had all year. No penalties, just 7 pars and 2 bogies. Now, I'm hoping this reset feeling carries through the week and the "Monday's" don't get me. Have a good day everyone! Was a great weekend that included the Badgers and Packers both securing wins and me posting a PB score at my home course of 90 (47 front /43 back). Ball striking was as consistent as it has ever been for me the last week and a half or so and really happy with how my swing "feels" right now. Lost strokes on the green as I had 6 total three putts, four of which came on the back 9. So to look at that and realize I put myself in a position to potentially go sub 40 on the back if I do no worse than two putt is a great feeling. Also set PBs in FIR/GIR, and never put myself into a bad situation off the tee (see driver pic for ball striking proof ). Was truly an epic round of golf for me, and missed breaking 90 by one putt on the 18th. Short work week this week as it is our wedding anniversary on Wednesday, celebrating 9 years of marriage to a woman who is STILL way out of my league. We are taking Thursday and Friday off and taking the boys up to the Mall of America to check out the Nickelodeon Universe theme park and staying at a Great Wolf Lodge waterpark up there. Should be a really good week! Hope everyone has a great day! Congratulations on the anniversary and on the PB! My wife talked about taking a trip to Mall of America with our family. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Yikes! and double Yikes!!…. Monday the day the Almighy ( not the wife person the other one ) invented to make Tuesday look good is over half gone and so is yours truly. To begin with, those “ people “ that pay my wages, are after me to earn them again, so off I go tomorrow evening to another uncivilized barren part of Texas. Then while feeling sorry for myself the other Almighty ( the wife person ) entered the room and informed me I have a doctor’s appointment that she took upon herself to make for me late this afternoon. I attempted to protest but got the “ look “ and thought better of it. So, I am hoping this doctor is not some fly-by-night veterinarian she has found to try and legally have me put “down”….
