Good morning all!

IT'S MEMBER TESTING SEASON!!!!!!!!!

GM, 60* with light breeze a beautiful morning.  No golf today, coffee, cereal and Sports Page B4 a few house maintenance and then yard.  Should be a good day.  Resting B4 Bacon Boyz tomorrow.

With your setup I wouldn’t retire either.  When your ready to walk away you’ll know it.

Sounds like we are on the same life plan  and my HR keeps letting me know about retirement seminars but there is more reason to keep going than to pull the pin and start the beginning of the last third of life - so much left to do and good bloodline, expecting to get to triple digits.

Good morning from a wet WNY on this MGS Community Call Thursday, impending downpours (if predicted weather radar is on point) should help wash all remaining road salt off everything.  Hot coffee keeping me company with memories of yesterday's first round on course filling every moment, hope your day has golf a part of it more than just MGS forum

THREE years WFH??!!?? Yeah I'd be going stir crazy cabin fever also!

But yeah saving for the future is always a good idea! Life certainly isn't getting any cheaper, either...

Retirement is great!! Mornings are much more pleasant. I still like to work part time, but it is nice to know that you don't have to. Extra money is nice though (pays for golf)

Just joined the forum. Enjoying it so far. Being an equipment nerd, excited to see the testing and review results. Maybe I will get lucky and get to test something.

Good morning all, what a way to kick off my morning! Needed the excitement as I woke up to snow on the ground thankfully not much and it *shouldn’t* stick. Excited is an understatement as to how I feel about testing season.

This is strictly my own personal opinion but I believe there will be a required hybrid model for some time in the next 6-12 months. My company is not doing it yet...HR is extremely cautious as are alot of companies requiring a come back to an office BUT it can only last for so long. Productivity will take a dip and I think the best solution without pissing people off is a hybrid 3/2 in person/at home model.  Time will tell but atleast with that you get the productivity of people coming in and collaborating as well as being home and being productive there. We all know everyone is doing stuff around the house when they are home.....

A lot more than just testing but its definitely fun to test! Hope to see ya on some of the threads (this one is very popular right now).

Human contact is important to the Beasts that we are. Comradery at work only comes from in person contact, but it does not have to be daily, just consistent personal contact.

Couldn't agree more with this. Testing is fun, but I look forward to the discussions (equipment, Tour events, spirits/cigars, etc.) and other engagement (fantasy golf, Tour event pick competitions, etc.).

I was more than ready at 60-62 yo.  We needed SWMBO health insurance coverage so had to hang on to 65.  Customers, employees, state and federal taxes, regulations and suppliers getting materials from overseas so quality and delivery were problems.  Like I said I was more than ready.  
I was offered jobs mostly consulting but had enough.
