Popular Post Wheelieb
Not really anything goin on today except work. Smoked a good rib rack yesterday and was the first time I smoked ribs. They turned out pretty well if I do say so. While I was at it I set my chipping net up and practiced chipping from 10-15 feet away as that distance I always seem to get the yips for some reason and revert to using my 9 iron. practice went well and by the end I was hitting them all into the net consistently. Hoping to set it up again this week and get some more practice in. My wife and i drove to the range yesterday but it was shut down, so Plan B we went on a trail hike that has some good elevation changes up and down .. so some good outdoor exercise there. The good news is my cardio fitness level is way improved vs last year! Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Good morning my spies. It is Monday… The starting point for a week of “ What IF’s “. The aftermath of having to had to endure 67.38 hours of winter and getting over 9 inches of rain in January is starting to emerge and show up around here. Lots of weeds bursting through lawns ( yeah, mine included ) , parks, and most disappointingly golf courses. The main culprit seems to be Poa annua. I am starting my senior citizen lab rat gig today. New drug regimen and the really neat part… Eat and adult sized type meal of my choice. Going to roll the dice on this and go out for the meal and hope everything turns out okay… errrr, make that, hope the meal stays down. The SHE person is preparing for the annual battle with the IRS. When I reminded her that the IRS is increasing their forces by 80-89K, she responded by saying, she still had them outnumbered. Might seem a little like an oxymoron, but I do feel a little sympathy for the IRS. My spies, may you all do Monday and NOT let Monday do you. Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! Shorts and polo shirt for the round this afternoon! Then the "Atmospheric River" that is trying to wash California into the ocean will roll our way. So no picking this week, and not much golf. The WM will be interesting with very soggy conditions and big winds. Thought about going but the thought of a 2 hour drive on a normal 30 minute scoot up the 101 did not sound appealing at all. Plus they are doing road work on the 101 - taking 4 lanes down to 2, three miles south of the turn off for the WM- which will just snarl up traffic that much more. Then because of the WM open all the courses in the greater Phoenix metro area jack up their prices for this week. Most 80 dollar morning rounds now cost somewhere between 120 and 160 bucks! When the rain stops might be better to go for a bike ride or a hike in the Superstitions.... ejgaudette, jbern, sirchunksalot and 11 others 13 1 Quote Driver Sim Max2 Hybrids G430 2, 3, 4 Irons ZX4 6-PW Wedges Hi-Toe 50, 54, 58 Putter 2Ball Ten ArmLock Golf cart MGI Zip Navigator

Popular Post ZoonORama
Good morning all! First cup of the morning gone. Slept good last night as yesterday was almost 58 degrees! Sunny, for once. Went to the range and hit some glorious shots. Left there a scratch golfer again! Supposed to be nice this week as well. Remember, there are only 6 more Mondays until SPRING! I made the mistake of going to the big box golf store to pick up some tees on Saturday morning. (had a $10 thingy about to expire). While I was there, since they had just opened, the GM asked if I wanted to hit any of the new drivers. Well, of course I did! He took me into the sim bay and got a few PINGs set up for me. The new 430 felt weird. So, he asked if I wanted to try the new Smoke AI Max. I hit it and wow… It set up nicely and I hit it great. In fact, I thought I was having club path issues but he looked at the numbers and it was fine. My smash factor with that club averaged 1.49 - couldn’t believe it. So that is a real possibility for me going forward. For those getting out to play today….. offer a moment of silence for those of us stuck working today…..then hit’em well! Cheers! Shrek74
Good morning and happy Monday, Spies!! A beautiful Monday has arrived, with mild temps and lots of sunshine. Yeah, I'm working. But the sun is shining and I'm vertical, so complaining will be to a minimum today. I hope. Kenny B
17 hours ago, cnosil said: Convinced the doctor I was ready to go home! Feels so good to not be at the hospital and laying in my own bed. Blandish food for about a week no driving for 2, a few other restrictions. Didn’t say no golf but the no lifting probably means I can’t get my bag to the car. . glad to be home with the family cat since the doctor said she didn’t have much time left. As soon as I came home and got in bed she came and laid next to me and hasn’t left my side. Glad to hear you are back home Chris. I hope they finally found out what your issue was and that it's all taken care of. Take it easy now; still plenty of time before Kingsmill. See you there!! cksurfdude, Dead Solid Bogey, jbern and 6 others 9 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
Popular Post MattWillGolf
Good morning Spies, 2 cuppas down and some oatmeal to fuel my morning run. Got the needed things together to get my taxes done. Not much on tap today though. Glad to see clear skies band sun again. Temps are in the 30s so it will be nice for a run. Seeing folks share their dog pics is a nice pick me up since losing our Riley last month. @ILMgolfnut Looks your GF has a nice home gym set up. Wishing all a wonderful day. tdroma98, sirchunksalot, snoopy79 and 12 others 15 Quote Anyday Maverick Black Ops 7-way 0311 Black Ops 8° w/Mitsubishi Diamana S+ 60 0311 XF 3 wood 16° w/Fujikura Motore X F3 0211 Hybrid 3 19° w/Project X Even Flow Riptide G410 Crossover 4 w/Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro Blue 70 Paradym X 6 - GW w/True Temper Elevate MPH Official Forum Test SM9 54°/12° D and 58°/12° D w/KBS Tour 110 DF3 w/BGT Stability ONE Forum Test Shot Scope Pro LX+ Pro LX+ Official Forum Test Pro V1 3.5+ Tests No Longer in the Bag ER11v 34” Evnroll ER11v Official Forum Test
