The Good Morning Thread

I liked the vice pros.  I found the durability (when I used them) somewhat lacking.

Though when they were cheaper they made sense.  At the cost they want for them now I think there may be better options out there.

I will say though, nothing beats that lime green color they have for visibility

The sub70 24° was solid on the range, but I hit it on the toe a bunch out on the course. 1 clean shot about 160y into the fairway I kinda baby'd the swing so didn't get the distance I'm looking for. A few par 3s I'll get to use it on today.

hey everyone, so yesterday was a mixed bag. Got told my parking garage was shutting down due to work without a permit and just general safety concerns, but repaid for a new garage, although at a higher price. But got home after Pickleball to learn either as a make-good from GolfBalls.com or as an error, instead of my 3 dozen order, I came home to see 6 dozen personalized balls, so we're all set for at least the next 2 or so years.

That's awesome!  My Father-in-law's cousin's family runs a maple farm up in Vermont.  A few years back we got to visit the sugar shack around this time of year and watch all the sap flowing in.  It was quite an awesome production!  

And man nothing beats some fresh maple syrup!

Also, good morning all!  I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm all jazzed up this morning!  Lots going on and Lots to do, but its all good stuff!

-Grady's first baseball practice last night, and he did great,  It's tough for him because he is so often with his 2.5 years older brother playing sports at home.  It's been a while since I've seem him play baseball with is peers and his heart and drive is starting to show through.

-Jackson's first practice this evening.  I won't tell him but he evaluated as the best 8 year old by the independent evaluators, and it's just fun to watch him play and try to get better.  

-Testing Season is off to a smashing start (I'm honestly super excited to see the positive response from everyone.  It was a lot of work for the mod team, and it brings a smile to my face to see it going well).

-Need to figure out a way to rig the Master's give away because Vokey's are 

-Have a fitting this afternoon for *CLASSIFIED* 

-And to top it off, It's my Dad's 72nd Birthday today!  Happy Birthday Dad!

I've been drooling over those Vokey's and have done the wedge selector at least ten times since yesterday . Live look in at me trying to decipher the winning line-up...

I got them from a site that refurbishes and resells, so only paid $1 each to see if I like them and which label I like the best. I just wish the mix was more even. Only data I got on that Drive ball was if you overswing and pull it, it goes dead left OB.

Busy times for sure

GM everyone!  Decent day today; cloudy but high of 63º; it's 44º now.  Got some yard work this morning after my lawn was plugged yesterday.  Then sit in on the community call followed by our annual meeting with our tax accountant... he's 6'6" and a 7hcp.  His "little" brother is 6'8"... one of the reasons we chose their firm as our tax guys!    #intimidation

I just got another shipment (6 doz) of the Pros. My wife plays the Lime Drip and I play the Green Neon. You're correct on the durability of the coating on the green. After playing 18 I will notice a small 'nick' in the green coating - but it doesn't affect the surface underneath. My wife doesn't have the issue with the Drip and I haven't noticed any issues with the white, which I've played extensively.

It’s uh even worse if you smoke a cart path or a tree, not that I have ever done such a thing.

I might need to grab some damn limes again.  I refuse to play just plain white balls anymore.

Headed out the door, got my new waffle fleece on. This will be my Ryder Cup viewing outfit for sure. Look like a golfer, play like a golfer? That's the theory, we'll see.

No, Lithium.  Couldn’t find it, I think it’s motor.  Got a get together with the Big Honcho next week.  At least it’s nothing serious and everything is still under warranty.

GM! Happy Friday to all of you! I'm relaxing in my primo parking spot drinking my morning mug of motivation. I had a good time on the community call, which is becoming the official start to the weekend for me. I'll be working again tomorrow helping out with finish or setting up our line for 51 jobs per hour. 

The good news is, next weekend is blacked out for any work so I'm trying to arrange a round with some of the guys from work. Now I've just got to hope the weather is going to be nice.

GM, coffee & out the door with a Exec 9 with Bacon Boyz, always a end of week treat.  Exec this morning at least has 2 par 4’s and some par 3’s are longish with water carry so that a plus.
