Great day on the forum, good golf on TV, fun member call and just a good day overall. Have a great night all and can't wait for my morning coffee!

Aldi is the best, dont always have a ton of stock but we get so much there when we can.

Unfortunately the spam bots are still at it!

Back to the cold-ish temps of the mid 20's (F) after a run of early spring 50's & 60's.  Fortunately there is an indoor project today rather than working outside.  I'm presently acclimated to the mid 50's and had to bundle up walking the dog around outside this morning!

Good morning everyone on this sunny cold WNY morning.  Weekends with grown children, one in college away from home and one working like her parents taking full advantage of not having to get up before noon.

Afternoon, heading to have lunch with son whose college is only an hour and a half away then on to Wildwood CC 20 minutes from his college for the 2nd of 6 Saturday sessions with the PGA HOPE program and a couple dozen old and new Veteran friends and our PGA Pro sponsors and mentors.  Home by evening making the day complete.

lol If only you knew the conversation we had in our private slack the other day. I was saying how I felt like I had been mia on the forum all day and took a look and I had some 18 posts by that point.

Just saw this thread - fun

Although the morning of Feb 7th (the first post) was a day I received bad news about a good friend ...but that's not what we're here to talk about!

Today (Feb 18th) is my wife's birthday .. yes: the "annual celebration of #39" .. and she did get a golf-related gift = Alphard V2 ewheels.

Wasn't sure if she'd like it, even though she'd gotten me a really nice electric trolley for my 65th .. she's been kinda "I don't need one until after I retire" (she's still working, elementary school teacher) .. but, happily (phew) she seemed pretty excited about it!

We like to walk the course and there are a few uphill sections where she could use the power assist. It will fit onto her existing push cart so we don't have to change that .. and the V2's auto go straight for 15 or for 30 yards buttons seem like it will be simple and easy for her to operate. ()

And other than that we're enjoying our morning coffee .. I took the dog out in the back yard earlier .. and now my wife is taking him out for a short walk. Then later her kids come to visit and we'll be going out to a fun brewery in town followed by dinner at an Argentine steak house

Sorry to hear. We did the same last weekend and then had to put our 11yo Golden Retriever to sleep Monday. REALLY, REALLY sad week here. Wife is an absolute wreck, and I'm not far from it so we get it. Best wishes for you and your family, furry and otherwise.

Been there twice the past 3 years, I know the pain.

this girl is the oldest of all the dogs we have had and she’s just rare and special (All are). She’s doing well a few days later.

Lotta early risers in this group!

Back when .. waaaay back, it seems .. I used to (emphasized!) be in a suit and tie on the 5:22 train into the city. Heck there were even some days I was on the freakin 4:22...

But that was then and now I'm a retired old fart with no schedule ... weekdays my wife's alarm goes off at 5am and I can cheerfully roll over and ignore it

Have to add in clearing out all the bots as part of my morning routine now!

My goodness they come in full force and probably had 120 topics to clear out and delete. Thankfully Ivan was up early too so I was able to get most of them because you all are up!

However a good start to the day. Plenty of coffee, a good breakfast, Ivan had a nap about a hour after really waking up and I was able to watch the last of us. Now doing a bit of work here, before going into real work for 2 or 3 hours then hitting the golf course!

Good Monday morning everyone  and holiday Monday in the US so late to rise and pot of tea to start the day, and not in the harbor @JohnSmalls!  Parents emigrated from England before yours truly emerged into the world so especially today when I remember my mum on the anniversary of her bringing me into the world, and then putting up with me for decades, it's only right to spend some quiet time with a cuppa.
