Rickp
SWMBO wanted to go to local Strawberry Festival. Hours today are 10-4 and we got there at 9:50. Had trouble getting a cart parking spot near the Festival place was mobbed already. We got the Strawberry Shortcake, some strawberries & tomatoes to bring home and a draft beer for my efforts. Lots of people but good time. Had a bit of trouble getting out, the deluge of cars & carts trying to get in was nuts. Lucky I know a way out of there on a cart path so wasn’t too painful. EasyPutter
Sunshine on this beautiful Sunday morning! hot tea for a cuppa with temps finally above freezing point to start melting off the ice covered everywhere/thing from Wednesday/Thursday's icing. Corgi's will be happy to finally be able to do what dogs do in their yard, they are definitely not fans of living on a contoured skating rink. Veteran friend posted a video in FB of her son skating down the sidewalk in front of her house with his hockey skates and stick as if on the rink ice. Cleared a 3/8 inch = 1 cm layer of ice off the top of my vehicle Friday to drive without being a hazard to vehicles following. sirchunksalot, JohnSmalls, Kenny B and 5 others 8 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. |> Big Dogs: First Strike Rattlesnake (10), TeelessTM (13), Tommy Armour TA1 3h (19), Ginty Trouble Club (29) |> Blades: First StrikeTM DeliveranceTM 4(23) 5(26) 6(29) 7(33) 8(37) 9(41) P(45) |> Wedges: Worx (55) Lovett (59) |> Flatstick: L.A.B. Kenny B
No sun today, but it's above freezing for the first time in almost a week and headed for a high of 50º. Bad news is that the wind comes with it 18-35mph. Could be playing again by Tuesday. I'm glad I now have a hitting bay to help take away my boredom. Don't care for Starbucks; tastes like it's burnt. About any other coffee shop is better in my opinion, but prefer my Moccamaster. My most important decision for the day... what's for dinner? Beef and broccoli stir-fry over rice. I was ready to go out for a 8:58 tee time when I got a message that there's a 1 hour fog delay. Hope the range is open! Or maybe a 2nd cup of coffee instead? This morning FOG was thick. Starter told us we could play at our own discretion/peril. This is a 1st time ever hearing that. sirchunksalot, ejgaudette, tony@CIC and 6 others 6 2 1 Quote Rick Left Hand, Driver; PXG 0311XF Cypher 50 gr Senior 5 wood; Ping 425, Senior Shaft 55 gr 7 wood; Ping 425, Senior Shaft 55 gr 5 hybrid; Cally Steelhead, Hazardous R2 Irons; Mizuno JPX 923HM 7-GW Recoil 460 F2 Wedges; Titleist S9 54*, Mizuno SW 56* Putter; Waaay too many to list
Popular Post JFish350
What a thread, I’m through the first 2 pages. It’s going to take me a week to get through all 14/15 pages. my alarm is set for 4:30am. That used to be sleeping in for me, job change helped that. I’ve been meaning to wake up earlier and get to the gym, but the last 10/15 years has been a struggle for that. I have been taking 15-20 min to do some hyperbolic stretching and a few yoga moves to help with the back. I'm a coffee guy and it just depends on what went on the previous day or upcoming if I have 2 cups or 8. Pic of my cup attached. Work day starts at 6am and done at 2:30. I manage 3 warehouses that are 40 minutes apart from each other. I get windshield time in between them plus any other deliveries I need to do. I try to stop at the local range for some swing work when my back lets me. My side gig is I officiate HS football, lacrosse and baseball. Lacrosse is taking a back seat as it’s is pretty tough on a body that was abused in its youth through the 40’s. love the stories and everybody’s different life styles.
