I had a blast. I planned on and did hit 3 iron off the tee on at least 9 holes. I stayed in the fairway. Hit most of the GIR. However, unbeknownst to us, this course was just reopened a couple of weeks ago with all new greens. Putter simply wasn’t enough club to reach the hole on some of the longer putts. I’m not kidding. William had a seemingly 40’ downhill putt that I stationed myself past the hole because I thought he would be unable to stop it. He whacked the ball, I prepared to stop it. He came up 20’ short. Then 10’ short on the next one. I tried it and thought I hit it hard enough to go off the front  and still didn’t make it to h the hole. 

Darned thing I have ever seen. They were pure, smooth, beautiful and like putting on velcro. But they were 2 weeks old.
