L.A.B. Golf adds the Link.1 blade putter to their 2023 putter lineup.

The Link.1 features the same torque-balanced design found in the popular L.A.B. Golf mallets.

The Link.1 is available at lab golf.com. MSRP $469 for stock and customs starting at $559.

L.A.B. Golf unveiled their new blade putter last month, the L.A.B Golf Link.1. If you missed it, don’t feel bad. We had a great many golf products cross our screens and inboxes last month. Some of them were bound to get lost in the glossy deluge of newness. A single new putter from a small putter company doesn’t stand much of a chance of being noticed when the big players in golf are throwing millions at the public’s attention.

I just noticed the offset weight ports on the heel and toe... that is interesting to me.  not sure the alignment matters, but judging by L.A.B. scientific approach to just about everything, I bet there is a very sound reason for it.  I'm interested to roll a few with it...

I definitely see that as an approach to most golfers. I wonder with more weight in the toe and more rearward than the heel, that more golfers are twisting on the stroke when using a toe hang putter during their tests. Anybody correct me here, I am no scientist.

Aesthetically, I prefer the branding iron look of the DF 2.1 over this one.  I doubt there will be any technical advantage of a newer model of the DF.

Probably no advantage.  Even with the newer models, they seem to say the 2.1 has the best of everything and their other models are a compromise.

I'm with @CarlH, I'll stick with my DF 2.1.  My improved putting has eliminated any concern over the looks!  The Link.1 is still a pretty good looking blade though.

This gimmicky marketing stuff with golf equipment is becoming laughable.

If you've rolled a L.A.B., you'll know it's less "gimmicky" than you might think.  Though, if you got one, you may have to change your screen-name 😉
