Forum Community Calls

[GolfSpy_APH]

We are going to introduce and try something a little new. 

Each Thursday at 4pm EST I will be hosting a Member Community Call via Google Meet. 

What's the purpose? We have a ton of great members here and even more knowledge to share. As we look to build and grow off the aspect of this community this will be another way to get to know fellow spys, chat the game we love and various other topics. 

What will be discussed? We will find a new topic each week, whether it is something forum related, testing, MGS Blog, PGA Tour or just general chat we will have a general topic which we will aim to discuss and have the expected tangents along the way. 

How long will it be? To start who knows? Probably at most an hour, but I will leave the call "open" if there are those that want to take some extra time to chat after. 

Why do this? Kinda the same as whats the purpose, but this is an area we think we can have some fun with and expand on. Our future Zoom Calls with HQ will be the same times and we will add in some Major Watch Parties during well the majors!

If you are interested in joining and getting to know some fellow spys drop in on Thursday and stay for a minute or hour. 

I will update each Monday with the "Topic of The Week" and we can build on some discussion in the thread prior to as well!

Definitely interested, definitely hinge on topics for sure but should be a great discussion.

Sounds like a great opportunity to "get personal" with fellow forum members.  Love this idea and I would join as often as my "other" job's work schedule allows

I don't know if anyone would be interested,  but I'd be happy to answer questions about being one of the testers for HQ.   Would be a behind the scenes look at what is involved,  how much time it takes,  what do the labs involve, etc.   I am free most Thursdays at 4:00 as long as i'm not testing

Love it!

I think as this new we can go in a variety of directions. If someone has a topic they would want to speak on or if there are someone who may even want to be highlighted we can do that as well. It is an open platform and we can take this in whichever direction fits the community the best. 

Mostly I am just looking forward to getting to know some of you a little better and us having some good fun discussion!

Feel like I should have given this a bit more thought, however I think if @cnosil is available to join and chat Most Wanted Testing as well as we will pull on the thread posted below and have some discussion about dream golf courses!

going to try my best to get on!  Daycare is closing early because of icy conditions expected later so I might not get on.

Power has been off and on again all day, sometimes more off, sometimes more on, like there's a connection to a kid's toy and they neglect it for a while then start messing with it until it breaks, then someone has to put it back together again.  And the cycle continues.  Hope it's more on for the 4pm hour
