Thanks for putting it together.   It is always nice to put faces to names and talk in real time versus the forum.   Hopefully we can get more people to join us on the future calls.

A little late getting topic out for this, but this week lets talk Member Testing!

With the mod team hard at work getting as much done as possible I would love to hear some of your thoughts on what you want to see, how you may like to see it presented and have a general discussion around member testing!

I am also excited to announce that not this week, but maybe in a few weeks or so we will be bringing in some special guests to discuss their products for member testing!

Regarding these special guests, do you envision this happening while the test is open for applicants, after tester selection, while the test is in progress…? Seems to me it would be especially interesting to hear prior to the test what they’re looking for from testers.

This may depend on the guest themself and they could be willing to do multiple drop ins. 

With the Newsletter being launched for Testing on Thursdays we would also announce if they were joining that night and it could be that they offer some insight or discussion around testing. For others they may drop in during, this will be more of timing that suits them. It is a simple platform for us to use and one that we can elevate and use to get another viewing angle on testing and just getting to know members so we will see how it develops!

This suggests real communication and what a great way to help focus a group of potential testers for what they are submitting to join.  Would help to decide to test now or wait to test later for something more of interest to the potential tester.  Could also elevate the testing techniques, capturing the testing, and delivery of results.

I really like the opportunity to talk and get to know each other in ways that these text based communications cannot.  Got my recurring phone alarm set for Thursday 4pm EST, do you?

Love this topic and general idea! Been battling a cold all week and have lost my voice today, but hopefully it's back in time for tomorrow. Whether I can talk or not, I'm planning on joining!

Another Monday another week for a community call!

This week we will go over the Survey Results and discuss what much of it means for us as a community, the forum members and where we take this information and use it as a mod team. 

We will also open this up for Open Chat to discuss anything that comes to the mind of those on the call or questions you may have. 

Finally if we burn through all that it is time to get into what have you tried and tested recently?

I'm looking forward to the call this week and really thankful my day for staying over at work is Thursday. I'll probably hop on sometime around 4:15 that way I have time to get the phone set up.
