I miss the scrolling photos

Am I the only one who misses the scrolling photos at the top of each main sub forum?  Occasionally one would catch my attention and I'd open it up to see the thread it was associated with... the majority of which I'd never seen before.  I now only see one on the far left side and that one can use the right arrow to look at others, but it's not as eye-catching.

After doing a little searching they are still there... or at least I believe they are to what I think you are talking about. I will admit it looks bugged and am in the process of trying to sort the issue. However here are some screenshots which should help. Or maybe I am way off base of what you are thinking and you can help by providing screenshots etc. 

Also I did try several different themes and it seems to be the same on all. 

Different options to view the main page. 

Option 1 - single photo there, but there are photos to scroll through (mobile is the same)

Option 2 - Again mobile is the same.

The screenshots you show are what I'm seeing; and I've been using the APH Test Theme.  The difference I was referring to is that only one photo shows in the header instead of a grouping of photos - which allows us to see lots more "clickbait" and seeing threads we might otherwise never see.  But I must admit, a few I could have done without seeing, so there is that .

Could be a change from one of the newer Updates. I haven't seen anything that would change it back and there is no plugin. 

I have sent a ticket to Invision about it and maybe at some point we will see a fix.
