Addicted2Golf
FIGJAM is my favorite tour player, but his younger doppelganger Bubba Watson would have been my second choice to win. Very happy for the young man. The similarities between the two are pretty striking... - Both are American. - Both are lefties. - Both are long off the tee. - Both have a risk taking, no-fear attitude - Both are fan friendly. - Both are rocking the long hair/visor combo OK, that last one was a little weak I'll admit.... BTW, Ping had to be doing cartwheels. Regardless of who won the sudden death playoff, a staff player from their stable was going to win. RoverRick
That was a great ending. I wanted to bet on Bubba last week but had to bet against Phil to do it so I did not. That was great when Jim Nance asked to say a few words and all he could say was. "I can't, I never got this far in my dreams." It just does not get any better than having a guy named Bubba win the Masters. Kudos also to Louis O (if you want the entire named spelled peoperly, Google it), perhaps that guy named Tiger could learn how to lose with some class from him. On a discordant note, I am getting more than tired of Peter Oosterhuis and ESPECIALLY Nick Faldo cheerleading for every non-American player in the tournament. Hey Nick, now we remember why we didn't like you when you were playing. You may not like Americans but you sure as like love our money.

GolfSpy WD
Love that Bubba won. He's my son's favorite player, mainly because he's a left and a bomber. RoverRick
We went to Easter dinner over at friends, actually it was the core of my golfing buddies, but late in the afternoon we started watching the back nine at Augusta, on 18 or so they showed Bubba and Louis Oosthuizen were walking up fairway and a older man, whose last name is Gonzalas, the father in law of one of my golf buddies, turns to my South African wife and says, we do not want that guy to win because he is a foreigner. She said, speak for yourself, he is not a foreigner to me. Gonzalas then says, that right you are from England or some place like him arn't you. She just said yes. He said, I still want Bubba to win. Addicted2Golf
That old school knee kick of Bubba reminds me of old playing footage of Johnny Miller. If I swung like that, I'd probably bury my driver six inches into the ground. His hand to eye coordination must be uncanny. RoverRick
"I've never had a dream go this far, so I can't really say it's a dream come true," Watson said. "It's just I don't even know what happened on the back nine. I know I made bogey on 12 and then I birdied four holes in a row. Nervous on every shot, every putt. Went into a playoff. I got in these trees and hit a crazy shot that I saw in my head and somehow I'm here talking to you with a Green Jacket on." -Bubba Watson G430LST 10.5° on T P T POWER 18 Hi Driver G430MAX 3w on T P T POWER 18 Hi Fairway G425 3H on T P T POWER 18 Hi Hybrid G425 4H on TGH 80S i525 5-U on TGI 90S SM8 54 & 60 on Wedge DF2.1 on White ProV1 Precision Pro NX7 Pro All Iron grips are BestGrips Micro-Perforated Mid
