2012 Yonex EZONE 380CC Driver

Recommended Posts

Hey MGS,

Its Ryan here at FairwayGolfUSA.com, Long time no see. I wanted to share this beautiful 380cc head driver from Yonex that they just released. We have them on sale on our website www.fairwaygolfusa.com and have them to demo at our San Diego Fairway Golf store.

Its nice to see a 380CC driver made by a major manufacturer.

Check out the pictures and let me know what ya think. I had a chance to hit it and absolutely loved it. Never hit anything from Yonex before but this driver is nice. This is Ryo Ishikawas Driver that he games.

ENJOY! Share your thoughts and comments.

I've got one arriving today, though this should be in the Japanese section, as this club is manufactured in Japan. I didn't pay anywhere near $400 for it either.

In The Bag
Driver: TaylorMade M2 (2017) w/ Project X T1100 HZRDUS Handcrafted 65x
Strong 3 wood: Taylormade M1 15* w/ ProjectX T1100 HZRDUS handcrafted 75x
3 Hybrid: Adams PRO 18* w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4 Hybrid: Adams PRO 20* (bent to 21*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4-AW: TaylorMade P770 w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx S400

SW: 56* Scratch Tour Dept(CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
LW: 60* Scratch Tour Department (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
XW: 64* Cally XForged Vintage w/ DG X100 8 iron tiger stepped
Putter: Nike Method Prototype 006 at 34"

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.

RB7,

Very Nice! I hope you'll be doing a review on the driver soon. We do price match any competitors prices but I do believe thats the going price for the driver here in the states.

What kind of shaft did you get with the Ezone 380cc driver? Really looking forward to a review!

I bought one that had a Rombax 6x08 in it. Pulled the shaft as soon as it got here and put a shaft I love very much in it (just ask Phil, I've ordered about a dozen and a half of them for my club ho'ing addiction) and that's a Talamonti PD80 in Tour X flex and tipped it 1.25", cut at 44.5" playing length. I went up in weight and went to 1/4" shorter than I normally play my driver at because I want something to slow my swing a tad and hopefully be a fairway finder. I've hit about 10 balls into the pasture behind my house and it's incredibly solid. Haven't seen on course or on range flight or distance yet so I don't want to comment on that but it feels very solid. I also have a new R11S and RBZ Tour on the way that I traded an R11 DOT for to have a shoot out with.

And I know you guys price match, but don't want to get you in trouble so I'll just say that it was below MAP. I'm assuming you guys have a Yonex account? If so, shoot me an email at rookieblue7@comcast.net I need to get a price on a Zero Iron head only. I've got one Price from a different vending than this Ezone 380 came from but want to make sure I can't get it for the same from you guys because I'd rather support someone that supports this site.

I wrote you an email regarding your question. Great info btw and I also had a chance to hit it today on the launch monitor and I loved it. Thanks for the support and I'll see you around MGS!

Ryan: Are you guys able to sell just the head of these? I'm giving a 10 degree 380cc head quite the eye lately.

While we're on the JDM stuff, do you have access to Geotech at all?

I laught at your claims to fight a zombie apocalypse when most of you can't stand up to a Spider

Tuna,

We are not able to sell just the heads of the YONEX EZONE drivers. We can assemble the head with any shaft you like and I can give you a quote also if you like.

Regarding the GEOTECH golf clubs if you can give me exactly what you want from them I can see if I can get it for you for a decent price.

email us at cs@fairwaygolfusa.com for further questions.

Thanks!
