Motocaddy M3 GPS

We are looking to get my Dad a Motocaddy M3 GPS for his birthday which is coming up. He travels around in his work Van, so the trolley will be going to and from the golf club in the back, with his tools etc, as a result his current trolley, which hes had for 15 years, is a bit battered, so my concern is the screen for the GPS on the trolley. Does anyone have any experience of how sturdy/durable these screens are? or are they just like a phone screen?

Unfortunately my local shops have none in stock so I can have a look for myself.

Pretty sure all the Motocaddy screens are touch screens, the same as a phone. If it were me, I wouldn't have it riding around in a van with tools all the time.

I agree. It's one thing to trash a $100.00 trolly and quite another to damage a $1,500 one.

I had a thought. Your Dad is obviously a tradesman of some description being that he carries tools in his van. He could build a wood barrier/compartment/box or whatever you want to call it to put the M3 in to protect it.

Thanks guys,

We didn't bother with the M3 GPS. He only puts the trolley in the back of the van to travel to and from the golf club and its not practical to clear the van out every time.
