With as crowded as the DTC space is at $35, I think you've gotta go under that, which then raises the question as to what PXG even is anymore as a brand. I wouldn't be surprised if we go to $30, playing below the Vice/Snell/OnCore price point for their higher-end balls. Javs
I guess it depends on which market they are trying to court. As stated previously the direct to consumer market is crowded. If this is a ball on par with say OnCore Elixr, then they have to be in the $25 a dozen range. However, if it turns out to be a premium ball like OnCore Vero X1 or X2 then they need to come in at $40 a dozen. This might just be a small market ball to appeal to loyal PXG customers. Interesting move by the company. GolfSpy_APH and sirchunksalot 2 Quote Play like a champion today!

Hopefully my local rep will give me a sleeve to try. Not really if you think about things over the last couple years. One it takes time to design, develop and test a ball. Then add in the supply chain issues that occurred and how it was hard for all ball manufacturers to get the materials in to make a ball. Then consider existing large customers are going to get priority over the dtc brands. Not to mention how many balls are on the market and that gaining market share is hard. Prior to 2015 cobra considered a ball but the smart guys like Mike Yagley convinced them to save the money for the exact reason of market share and how hard it would be to make it a wise investment sirchunksalot, BIG STU and GregGarner 3 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

Popular Post GolfSpy SAM
I'll bet this comes in at $75/box. Then, a month from now, it'll be $29.99/box (but only for a limited time). Then they'll release the 0211 ball for $20/box. Then the main ball will go back up to $75, unless you enter code "KaBlammo!!" and then you'll get it for $8.99/box and a free hat.
