Where do you think the price point will be? How many layers and do you think it will be a contender for your bag?

It is a 3 piece based on the USGA conforming list.

I am guessing it will be a $35 to create some disruption.

With as crowded as the DTC space is at $35, I think you've gotta go under that, which then raises the question as to what PXG even is anymore as a brand. I wouldn't be surprised if we go to $30, playing below the Vice/Snell/OnCore price point for their higher-end balls.

Will it be offered in colors or just white?

Pxg is black and white. Hardly likely they will do any other color and doubt they would do black

I refer to one of the first threads I posted when joining MGS Forum... about ball logo dictating whether or not I could play a given ball.  In this case, my answer is no... for me.

I guess it depends on which market they are trying to court. As stated previously the direct to consumer market is crowded. If this is a ball on par with say OnCore Elixr, then they have to be in the $25 a dozen range. However, if it turns out to be a premium ball like OnCore Vero X1 or X2 then they need to come in at $40 a dozen. This might just be a small market ball to appeal to loyal PXG customers. Interesting move by the company.

Play like a champion today!

The only surprising thing about this is that it took this long. Hopefully my local rep will give me a sleeve to try.

Not really if you think about things over the last couple years.

One it takes time to design, develop and test a ball. Then add in the supply chain issues that occurred and how it was hard for all ball manufacturers to get the materials in to make a ball. Then consider existing large customers are going to get priority over the dtc brands.

Not to mention how many balls are on the market and that gaining market share is hard. Prior to 2015 cobra considered a ball but the smart guys like Mike Yagley convinced them to save the money for the exact reason of market share and how hard it would be to make it a wise investment

I'm just surprised the ball doesn't have any weight-ports...

They should release one with weight ports painted on, similar in style to the TP5X PIX
