Well @GolfSpy_BOS I broke and made a new one. 

Please all who see this take the few minutes to go through the membership poll in this thread. 

The mod team is hard at work in a variety of areas and want to continue to provide a better forum experience for all. 

As always we do our best to keep things constructive and work toward solutions with any issues members are having. 

If there are other areas you wish to discuss please enter it down in the comments. 

For all the newer members we welcome feedback on how to make your life easier and enable to forum to be more accessible when first joining!

I come for a bit of everything. I’ll be honest, my participation comes in waves, depending on what’s going on in life. Folks are great here!

Will try the Virtual tour thingy … and will try to post a marker for the course I use in SoCal.

Also, just wanted to say, management of the forum is fantastic. Top notch.

I don't know what part of the forum I engage with most.   I just hit new content and then read/respond to whatever topic seems interesting.  I have no idea where on the forum the content exists.

Can always be left blank. 

I would say general product is what I see you most active in.

Glad I stumbled onto this and completed it.  Results could be interesting.

Would have liked to select more than one answer for the first question, but understand why that's not an option.  Honestly, I first started for the contests and chance at winning free stuff, but have evolved to sliding all around on multiple topics.  Probably spend too much time on this forum, if that's possible, but who's counting?  Family sure thinks so anyway.

Have no idea what the course marker is, or what the AMA question was regarding though.

Course markers are where members can do course reviews! 

AMA or ask me anything was a feature from a year or so ago which a previous mod had created and led. When he left we had a hard time keeping up with it so it is more if anyone is interested in seeing them come back then we can make those efforts!

Completed. I chose “Other” as my answer to the first question because I feel like I almost participate equally in each answer option. Lately, I’ve been most active on general discussion which I really enjoy. That is certainly what has kept me coming back each day.

I think this is in large part to not having the best testing season last year and the whole mod team working so hard to bring life to the forum in other ways.

Testing product is cool, but what I enjoy most is the wealth of knowledge/experience on the forum.

Filled in my response. I joined the forum to support MGS as a whole. I was fortunate enough to be selected to test products but I really enjoy the member interaction and the banter that occurs in the various threads. While we all love this game and mostly take it seriously I find that the forum members don’t take themselves too seriously. Which makes the forum a fun place to spend time.

Completed - honestly though there were a couple that multiple answers could well have and should well have applied.

 

Andcehy I come now is different from why I first came. I first came because of a preposterous claim that Srixon was making about its golf ball. I wanted answers about “side spin” and compression. I had my answers in minutes and have been here ever since.

I’ve also never gained a Srixon ball and won’t because their claims were BS and they never once answered my inquiry. Every other OEM has answered when I’ve sent a question in,

I know many could have had multiple selections and gave that consideration. However then when we look at it all it leaves some ambiguity to the data and more room for Interpretation. This way we have some more concrete answers and ability to move forward with the data provided.

I think this will be echoed, but the first question could use the option of offering multiple selections. While my answer would have changed over the years, I certainly come to the forum for all of the selections offered; with general discussion being the most frequent.
