So I thought I would pose the question to the forum: If you could play ONE hole in all the world... what hole would it be? Maybe an iconic hole that you have watched on TV over the years, maybe to test your own swing/game agaist what the tour players experience, or even just to see the landscape in person... There are so many great options including the island green at Sawgrass that we will watch all week. How about you??? Remembering Freddie Couples in 1992, miraculously staying on the front bank and making par on his way to the green jacket. So many others over the years seeing their chances end in the water around that green. Watching the competitors walking on the Ben Hogan Bridge over Rae's creek. Yes... that is the hole for me. Par 4 427 with literal danger all down the left side. I had the opportunity to eat lunch at the clubhouse while I was in Ireland last August for a family trip and have been dying to set up a golf trip to go back and play. There's an old rumor that when the fog roles in you drop to your knees and stay there as there have been a few lost souls who walked off the cliffs edge trying to find their way back to the clubhouse. But honourable mention (and it’s damn near a tie with Augusta) is the Road Hole. I mean, have you ever even been to the Jigger?
