I'm with you on this.  He has done great things for the game, his career as a golfer, and the charities he is involved with. His personal life is his to manage and none of anyone's business.

so, what you are saying is that every person that changes girlfriends or gets a divorce is a bad human, I would venture to say at least 40% of us on this forum, in your opinion are bad humans, tiger is a celebrity and not just in the golf world, and I think some other celebrities get divorced or break up with long time girlfriends. I believe Tom Brady may have just got divorced. This is a non issue...

I don’t think he is referring to the divorce or breakup part of the relationship.   The divorce was partially related to his cheating on his wife.  The lawsuit being filed has to do with alleged actions  he took associated with the breakup that are thought to be illegal.

I've not really been a Tiger fan. He's obviously a contender for the GOAT- on the course. What he's done/hasn't done off the course is his own personal business. I'm sure he has his reasons- it's not like he's a pauper and doesn't have any $$$$. And I'm NOT saying she's a gold-digger. I appreciate EVERYTHING he's done with his foundation and the other things he's helped with. His dedication to the sport and how much he's improved the golf environment is remarkable. I just think he needs to take care of his life the way he sees fit and it's not really up to anyone else to condemn him for any of his decisions. I'm sure he's got "people" suggesting what he should do.

Just one of the downsides to being a well known celebrity. Unlike his golf, few will argue a GOAT case when it comes to his record with relationships.  He'll likely pay up to keep the NDA in place and avoid any further details from becoming fodder for the rags.

Sure, wouldn’t feel great. But we have no idea what her behavior was and her role in this. I’m not trying to victim shame, but reacting to one side of the story without other details is pointless. 

At this point, people already have their mind made up one way or another about Tiger and no amount of new information or discussion is going to change those opinions 

My brother just got out of an awful relationship. We thought his gf was incredible but under the surface she was accusatory, manipulative, and vindictive. We had no idea how toxic she was to him behind closed doors. She lived with him and it 2 months to convince her to move out and even then she has still been trying to mess with his life

I know nothing of the details but, presuming this is really how the event happened, you make a very good point.  It's really too bad these personal situations get used for marketing exploits as they do.  Short of physical or verbal abuse, or illegal activities, what Tiger does in personal relationships should be his business.

Like you said cannot victim shame, I am sure we have all had training on sexual harassment, issues victims have coming forward....the list goes on.

But when reports are made due diligence has to be done, what are the facts on both ends here. Tiger does not have a great history so I am skeptical but people change so.

With such a shady past it is hard to back Tiger, but if the law is not broken, you can chalk it up to him just being a DB.
