Ping i20 driver

Has anyone reshafted a ping i20 driver that has the adapter with the nut that attaches to the hosel?  It doesnt look right eith just the nut. What am i missing?

Did a quick google search the PING I 20 is a bonded club, it would not have an adapter. 

If yours has a "nut" on it. It sounds as if it has been modified to hold an adapter such as an ALL FITT or CLub Connex. 

If so remove the adapter and reattach a shaft in the normal fashion

although not an ALL FIT or CLUB CONEX it is an adapter or at the very least has been modified to accept other shafts. 

My guess is its either a demo head or had been machined to accept a screw in type of adapter. I am told a few companies did do that.

How do i go about fixing this? Ive never seen one. Lol
