Lee Stanek
39 minutes ago, EasyPutter said: My glove stays on from the first tee to the last drop in the last cup at 9 or 18 depending on the round. Less is better for me so once I tried to do the glove off thing and forgot the very next hole. Stopped worrying about it and now glove up when heading to the practice green. Feel can go both ways, as long as it feels right and attention is paid to what the putter is doing in the swing I say to each his/her own I am the same. I keep my glove on the whole time!! Triple_Putt
This time of the year I hardly take my glove off so yes I putt with it on, mostly just me forgetting it’s even on. but when it’s really hot during the summer then no I take it off after every shot, and it doesn’t come back on just to putt. Im from Syracuse and still live there (Camillus currently). I have to say I prefer the feel of no glove while putting. It’s become a routine at this point to take my glove off before I even get to the green and if it stayed on for a putt that means I hit it to inches and am tapping it in and walking to the next tee. Not related to putting but it’s also part of my pre shot routine to I take it off in between most shots tee to green. I will preface that with I am not a slow golfer by any means. Kenny B
I don't normally wear a glove, but IF I wear a glove, it stays on. I have tried many times to take it off when I get to the green, but I always forget. When I do remember to take it off, I end up playing the next several holes without it. Too much trouble. richk9holes
I've gone back and forth repeatedly on this and settled on glove off. The main reason is it helps me be on routine in reading the putt. I might grab the velcro while someone else is hitting, but I don't take the glove off until I'm paying attention to lining the putt. There's a much smaller factor having to do with feel but it is of less importance to me than the routine aspect of doing it the same every time. I don't really like having to use multiple gloves during a round and it's been years since I'd adopted the glove off after shots, since I had to. I also use some version of hand antiperspirant also (I have 3 different ones), so that helps. I always ride and what I typically do is start putting the glove back on as I roll up to my ball. So I'm usually getting my number with it on already. If I'm last to go though, I'll delay putting the glove on until necessary. EasyPutter and Jnoble89 2 Quote Link to comment

He was a very good golfer and athlete. He also told me you can’t stay locked on for 18 holes unless you take breaks. I learned his secret was putting on the glove. Once on no talking just dial in and go. Then glove off and he was back talking. I have used that ever since. Swood1994, Lacassem, ParFore74x and 1 other 4 Quote Play like a champion today!
