70's Golf Clothes

Seriously, is this perhaps a way for them to truly expand their market? Custom college golf gear?

I highly doubt it. But it is fun to think about.

It just seems like a color-specific market that could increase visibility for the brand. Although the big schools already have sponsors like Nike at Oregon.

Making clothes with out school logo that are school colors and not sold on campus, can be done. Besides this would be targeted at golfers in the area of the school, that went to the school or who just a fan.

I don't get the diamond plate shoulders, but I think that it is great that they take risks in uniforms. Why I love Poulter and Daly.

Ooooh, touched a nerve there. The Gators remind me of the Mets, and being from MA, we still haven't forgiven them. They have some occasional nice Ducks jerseys, but a lot are just very flashy.

Agreed. I have been going to Duck games since 1984, and can't understand why the Black unis. We are not OSU. I dont work in the athletic office though.

It's probably more important to be in Nike's office. He makes a lot of the decisions because he is their biggest alum.

I just got back from the local Rescue Mission and scored a nice pair of powder blue polyester pants... Brand new/never worn, and a short sleeve rain jacket with the tags still on it... the rain jacket has a tournament logo on it, but for the price I couldn't go wrong...

 

Both the pants and the jacket were $4.99 each with an additional 50% off... just over $5 for both after tax...

 

 

 

I still need to find a shirt to go with the pants... this is one i had in the closet...
