They are still showing weather delay as status but with the downed trees, it seems unlikely they'll resume in the next hour... so I'm off to ride my bike. My wife wants Papa Murphy's pizza tonight and I need to make some caloric offsets .

Rahm 3 back with 9 to play. Depending on what the weather is doing, it's not insane to think he'll have a lead over Koepka by the time he finishes his 2nd round.

Don’t Thomas and Im need to drop to +3 then? Does masters do cuts by number of players or strokes from the leader?

They go by 50 players, + any ties, so I think just one of either Thomas or Im dropping to +3 would move the cut back

He is doing something very special... but he hasn't stepped on the course on Masters Sunday yet.  Strange things happen to EVERY golfer on Masters Sunday.  I'm pulling for him though.  Love his story and hope he makes a run!

I think it is funny that the Tiger Effect is still in full force... the +2's are getting the premium coverage... not to see if they make the cut, but because they control Tiger's weekend and the broadcast wants more than ANY OTHER STORY ON THE COURSE... to have Tiger play this weekend.

Not trying to assign motives... but Tiger's "little brother" who really has NO CHANCE to contend during the weekend, made a bogey that didn't change anything EXCEPT allowing his "big brother" play the weekend and tie the record of consecutive cuts made.   One COULD say that is very convenient.

I’ve always wondered if that kind of stuff is happening.  Not just in golf, but all sports.  Some stuff just seems way to convenient as you said.  Like the Michigan  Wolverines getting smoked by TCU, then TCU getting embarrassed by Georgia… or I could just be a little bitter about that.  Haha

At what point do you say screw it and play bad so you don’t get put with the pacer?

Pretty sure I’ve seen guys miss putts on purpose just so they can sleep in the following day.   Namely Tiger a few years ago.  Seemed to miss it on purpose, the cut that is.

Maybe a I don't want to play in this weather for the rest of the weekend so I'll show him and make him play all weekend in the rain.

Greg Norman was accused of that many years ago at Cromwell TPC.  Disqualified himself on Friday for a ball infraction.
