looks stunning. Again, it is a niche market. Good for those who use a 3w primarily off the tee as this should be more forgiving but harder off the deck. Could also be good for those who want to play drivers with their own shaping of shots.

I wonder is an MGS HQ article on this will get us TMs official reasoning that it doesn't have a carbon face.

Of course it did,  just needed to look before writing.

I might actually hit this further than my current driver.  Since I'm using a 12° Sim 2 Max to give me the launch and spin I need,  I think the 11.5° head on this would work really well,  and the smaller club head has to have better aero than a 460cc head.  So same launch with a faster club head is what I'm thinking 🤔

Imo it’s not as niche as some think. They typically sell out so there’s plenty of market demand for it

Is it harder to hit off the deck? Yes but so it a driver. It’s why I stated that anyone who can effectively hit a 3w off the deck can hit the mini driver off the deck. It’s the same technique.

The number of amateurs that can effectively hit a 3w off the deck is small.

Hi all… I’m a club builder in Boise, ID.  Thought I would share a tidbit on the new BRNR mini Driver. Being a club builder/restoration guy I’m always tinkering on clubs.  The New BRNR sole weights labeled 1.5g & 13.5g are actually 3g & 14g given the weight of the screw. The Stealth Driver Sole weight will fit the BRNR min Driver, both the screw threads & weight diameter fit the BRNR perfectly, although the screw head is a Torx 20 not the standard Torx 25.  I will no doubt be adding some draw bias to the head via hot melt which will require lowering the 13.5g rear weight to keep the SW on my spec.  Stealth Driver weights can be bought on eBay in 2g to 14g so as I add hot melt weight, I can reduce the weight of the rear sole weight.  Taylormade or the aftermarket may eventually sell replacement or additional weights, but thought this info was worth sharing.  I love the mini drivers, I’ve played them  for years!

I ordered the 13.5 degrees one yesterday.
I wasn’t sure at first between the two lofts (11.5 vs 13.5) but decided to go with 13.5.
I will test it at 11.5 degrees for sure to see how it performs.

I’m thinking about ordering one myself was poking around the website and noticed they can be customized with a variety of shafts and grips!

That’s a bummer! I have to go to a golf galaxy about 40 minutes away that shows some to try and demo it. Gotta find an excuse

Testing it before ordering is the best way to go about it. I couldn’t do that, but I have a good relationship with the local golf store and they will work with me, if needed, on finding the best shaft for it.

So I got a chance to demo this lil guy today and whoa did I like it. Best shot on the trackman at golf galaxy below. Talking with the guy there he said order from TM with the swing speed I was getting and go X-Stiff. Consistently in the high 270’s for total distance with it
