MacTourney
Two in service. Whatever wedge is with the set I'm using, number #10 on some, or they could be swapped out with a Hogan-wedge or other sand iron. Then my baby, Cleveland-Rossignol 588, who never met a situation that made it shiver, never met a shot it didn't embrace, and never met a wager it didn't like. That 588 has paid for itself enough times I could buy 3 sets of PXGs. Quote Good hand action comes from good body action.

Swood1994
I feel like all the wedge threads are coming across my feed lately and I’m here for it. My irons are still fairly standard lofts. I currently carry 4 wedges all SM8 Vokey’s 46.10, 50.12, 54.14, 58.12. The 58 may be swapped out for a 60 with lower bounce at some courses and the 50 is usually for full shots at 120-125 but might be replaced by a utility iron and I’ll learn to flight the 46 into that yardage as it currently goes 135 jbern 1 Quote Current WITB: Driver: Paradym 10.5 Ventus Blue 7S (testing Tensei Raw AV White 65-S) Fairway: ST-Z 230 3-Wood (15°) HZRDUS Smoke Black 6.0 60 Hybrid: ST-Z 230 Hybrid (19°) Ventus Blue HB-8 Irons: MP-18 MMC (4-9) Wedges: Vokey SM8 (46.10F, 50.12F, 54.14F, 58.12D) Putter: Select Squareback 2 34.5 Ping Corded 88G PP58 grip double taped Ball: Pro-V1 (currently testing the Callaway Chrome Soft X LS Triple Track) Reviews: 2023 Red Rooster Sussex Glove Official Forum Test 2023 Mizuno Long Game Official Forum Test

Currently have PW (41*), 52*, 56*, 60* but thinking of bending my 52* and my 56* down 2* to give me some better gapping. Difference between my PW and my 52 is about 20 yds and I tend to find myself with a fair number of shots in between that I have to land short with the 52* most of the time. I could hit a soft PW but find that I don’t have as much control as I’d like. I tend to do ½ and ¾ swings with my 56 and 60 when needed but for some reason don’t have the same confidence with my PW (perhaps the bounce and grind have something to do with it). Anyway, curious to hear what others have to done to address their gapping. I used to have the same problem with about 20 yds between my 47 deg PW from the iron set and the 52 deg specialty wedge. Since I now have a 45 deg PW and a 50 deg AW that are part of my iron set and 54 deg and 58 deg specialty wedges, gapping is a lot tighter. My stock gapping is below: PW -> AW 12 yds AW -> 54 15 yds 54 -> 58 15 yds sortiz003 1 Quote WITB: Driver: Gen4 0811X (Mitsubishi Tensei Blue 65 S) | Fairway metal: 3W TSR2 14.25* (ProjectX BlueSmoke Stiff) | 5W Gen4 0341XF (Mitsubishi Tensei Blue 75 S) | Hybrid: 4H Gen4 0317XF (Mitsubishi Tensei Blue 75HY S) Irons: 659 CB 5-AW (Project X Rifle 6.0) | Wedges: 286 54* & 58* (KBS Tour 120 S) Putter: AL-6 armlock Ball: pro drip: red & blue Pushcart: 4.0 | '23 MGS Forum Tester | Follow review here

Golf2Much
For me the answer is four, but it depends! Until recently, my irons were G30's and I carried pitching wedge (45 degrees) with my three Edison wedges (50, 55 and 60 degrees). As a recent MGS Callaway Paradym X reviewer, I had to change my wedges to accommodate the inherent stronger lofts. With the Paradym X pitching wedge at 41 degrees, I added their "A" approach wedge at 46 degrees. That meant one club had to go out of my bag. After some trial and error, I choose pulling the 60 degree wedge out and putting the 3 wood back in the bag. So now, I still have four wedges (Paradym X PW and AW and Edison 50 and 56 degree wedges), just a different mix. Donn lost in San Diego
3 normally at my main course. 1. PW from the Ping I 500 set. 2. Mizuno S5, about 7 yrs old now, 52 x 09 GFF. I have a new one waiting for its turn. 3. An ancient but trusty sand wedge, an original Hogan Sure Out, with a flange bigger than a small flounder. I own 3 other Mizunos for use in other club lineups. I use a chipper instead of a higher loft wedge for shots near the green.
