Played my league yesterday, and then we played some additional holes after, and today I was dragging myself around the course. I'm a little concerned about how tired I'm getting on the course lately. Back 9 was awful.

First round after a 3-week break while on vacations. A brutal 52 on front-nine including an 8 on a par 3 and an incalculable amount of 3-putts. Managed to piece my game back on the back-nine but still couldn't putt to save my life.

Started on the back nine today and it was rough out of the gate with phone calls coming in right as I'm heading to the first hole and then again while heading to the second hole of the day. Normally, I wouldn't answer the phone but one was concerning my LASIK procedure on Thursday and the next call was from my new boss who I will be reporting to starting next Tuesday.

I managed to right the ship though and fired a 39 on the front nine! 1 gross eagle and 1 gross birdie on the day as well!!!

Actually stuck the approach for the eagle after a big drive and a solid 8-iron to a front pin!

Practice round, getting used to the new gamers still Callaway Rogue ST irons and woods (LS for the lumber).  Was a mostly uneventful round.  8 bogeys, 10 pars.  Chipping and pitching weren’t as clean as they have been in recent weeks, I hit some great shots from inside 100 yards that just didn’t hold.  Putting similar story great lines but a foot short or long. Best hole today was 13, 400+ yards from the blues and I hit Driver (305) and had a 3/4 lob wedge to the pin….that I pulled to left side of the green, leaving a 30’ birdie putt with about 3’ of break that was rolled to 1’ short….

Played OK Putted very well with the new Garsen MAX grip installed.31 putts with one 3 putt.  However, my total feet of putts made had to be about 30 feet as I had 7 stop within 6 inches of the hole.  That grip is definitely helping me with lag putting.  Missed 2 birdie putts inside 10 feet though.

Had a rough round this morning. Another new course for me. Good takeaways are that my minions were good. However my putting was very bad I had 10 3 puts and a four put this round. 

Still, for a new course it's not terrible.  You'll get it next time.

I did play today, but it was at the local pitch 'n' putt.  Wound up net -5 on a par 27.  Was a good walk too.  I would have done better, but I flew a few greens.  

I have a round at a regulation length course tomorrow.

Have been working through a fitting process so haven’t played much recently. Was going to play last Sunday but cancelled and did a 2 hr practice.  My current/old irons were feeling foreign so the practice was much needed. 

I had a pretty decent round but got tripped up on 3 holes, all 3 times dealing with wet bunkers.  It was CPO and by the 13th hole we were really feeling fatigued.  7 pars, my goal is 10.  12/14 FIRs but only 6 GIRs.  34 putts and score of 42/44.

First round after a two year healing break and it was cart path only.  Two holes with decent drives. Two irons shots to the front of the green,two chips and two one putts = 2 pars. Everything else about the round shall be erased from memory

Double triple EAGLE single double to start the front 9 and could not get a par to drop after the 2 hits on the 3rd par-4.  Hit driver from the seniors tee 189 and then 5-iron from 143 that bounded up to the green and rolled towards the pin as I have seen many times before but this time it disappeared which I am used to seeing end up over the back.  But the others said they thought they saw it drop so I kept from jumping to conclusions, finished measuring the shot and then changed the phone display to camera handing it to my regular partner before seeing my OnCore Avant with my purple mark in the bottom of the cup.  Didn't drop my handicap down much because there was plenty of "normal" golf going on for the other 17 holes.

Got my 2nd round in here over a 2 evening excursion.

I played the front 9 on Monday, and then completed the back 9 this evening after work.

Best thing is the course had leagues on the opposite 9's I played each evening, so no delays and pretty much about 2 hours per 9.

Had a 41 on the front on Monday, which was a couple strokes better than the first time I played this course, but without any hold-ups in front of me, I was able to use "normal" clubs and not lay back worrying about hitting into any slower players.

Finished up with a 39 on the back this evening, again, no delays, and I played "safe and smart" golf, keeping it in the short grass both evenings.

For this complete round hit a total of 13 of 14 fairways, and 9 of 18 GIR.

Had 34 putts, but again the greens were on the slower side, and it appeared that most of the holes around the cups were raised or coned.

Don't know why this would occur, but it seems to be a common trait here for most courses either later in the day or on the weekends.

Have tee times made for both this upcoming Sunday and Monday afternoon, not at this course, but at a Metropark course I typically play regularly here.

Hit the ball great but the hills and the bunkers and the very slow greens got me.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day.  Course was in good shape.  This course should be re-evaluated because the slope and rating (for the white tees at least) seem too low.
