Thanks! I don't really like to use the branded headcovers that come with clubs and I forgot to swap the Cobra one out. It's rare that I see one that I really like, but IMHO the Paradym cover was a big miss on their part. Not sure who decided that the big blue plastic strip in the middle was the way to go. Some may like it but it's not my style. Great advertising for Callaway though!

Interesting on the box - I know I have Callaway boxes that have built-in support to prevent crushing/bending. Agreed on the head cover, can't say I' a fan either but the club itself looks fantastic.

I also know the fear of the branded box sitting out on the walkway or porch... a few years back I lost a shipment of music gear that the USPS insisted was delivered but must've grown legs. I've been paranoid ever since.

Probably the least protected packaging of a golf club I've received in a long time.
I get that the head is protected by the head cover but if I paid 600 for a driver and there was shaft damage due to faulty packaging I'd be a little upset....

Hey guys, tossed up my Unboxing and first impressions as well.  Overwhelmingly all my thoughts are right on par with those of @StrokerAce.  BUT never hurts to look at more pictures of a gorgeous golf club...

Hey folks! Just an update from my part. I'm still waiting to receive the . We're Unsure if it's been sent or if it's in transit. I'm hoping that it's just a delay due to the special "extra fast" paint layer they use on these. I'm really hoping to have something in-hand by the weekend so I can unbox and rev it up for some stats. Stay tuned

..so I had a lesson at Golftec this afternoon and stopped by my local Kohr Golf range and they have a feature where you connect the trackman app to the range wifi and you can collect stats. It was my first time doing it so I'm not sure I did it right but whoa am I impressed.

The ball rockets off the face and my oh my what a difference a shaft makes. 
Love the sound - muted but solid. Hoping to record that somehow without breaking my iPhone. 

Going to a heavier X shaft from a lighter S really tightened things up. I'm going to get on an official sim soon and have some real stats but so far I don't see this thing going a n y w h e r e. 

Maybe it's first love, but be still my beating heart!

Great stuff so far everyone! I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Paradym works for y'all going forward.

I'm going to have to agree with those of you that have said that Callaway missed the mark with those headcovers. The blue plastic doesn't scream premium, it screams uninspired. 

Also, that packaging on the driver @StrokerAce got was atrocious. You would think they would go the extra mile to make sure an expensive piece of equipment was properly packaged to reduce the chance of damage.

Not an official tester, but I picked up a Paradym on EBay and hit it for the first time yesterday at the range.  I am not a 300 hitter - at least I wasn’t.  Apparently I am now!   Low launch, low spin, and LONG!  Wow. 
 

Really looking forward to the reviews.

I really do enjoy my G430 but truly cannot get the Paradym Triple Diamond out of my head. The flights and distances I saw with the limited time was crazy. The ball just seemed to hang in the air forever!

Late to the party here but congrats guys. 
 

After ordering an 8* Paradym TD that got lost and then trying different heads,  I went and hit a bunch of different combos at my local shop. I left my brain out of it and hit all that was available. Glad I did. I always loved the feel and shape of the Paradym TD but the consistency(launch/spin/dispersion) I gained with the Vanquish 50 stiff shaft paired with it were just too good.  
 

I can’t wait to see you guys put it through its paces and hopefully see what I see every time I tee it up.

Yeah. This driver really has me considering trading-in my 4+ year-old Epic Flash after this season. I used to be a Cobra driver fanboy & AeroJet has received rave reviews - even by MGS staff - so next year will be the advent for one of the two for me

I set up the paradym similar to the TD in order to get a similar result but a little added forgiveness moving to the Ventus Blue 7S shaft help me gain a lot of stability through the swing. I feel like I’m back in my X-stiff shaft but don’t get the as negative results in mishits. 
 

I have to say for a $599 driver I expected a wrench to be included

Just received my Callaway Paradym TD 8 degree, set 1 flat and neutral with HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 60G in stiff cut down 1/4 inch topped off with a Golf Pride multi-compound white grip standard. Must say the irons came boxed much better. Also, no wrench????? What the heck Callaway. However, the driver performs well. I found it more forgiving than expected! When hit on the button it’s lights out!!

While I don't have a nice shiny Callaway Paradym driver to talk about.. yet.. 

My mind wheels of madness have been working overtime and I might just be picking up this beauty tomorrow to compliment the driver when it arrives. Figured it wouldn't hurt to have my opener and closer from the same family..

Reading through the comments, it looks like a few of you have had some drivers shipped to you. Have you also noticed the same issue with the packaging material? And no adjustment tools? 

Something maybe the mods might be able to get the word back to Callaway on?  Being that we are as a whole a "consumer group". 

I thought I remember seeing past reviews where the "custom shop" stuff came in a pretty nice box.

The irons for the testing came nicely and securely packaged. The driver came in a box that is best described as an afterthought with no wrench.

I’m really settling in with these irons. I get more impressed with each round. I had “The Shot That Keeps You Coming Back” last time out at my home course. According to my rangefinder I was 167 to the flag. I took out the 6 iron and and hit nice high shot to 15 feet. Finished with a 2 putt par. Oh and I played the all 9 with a found Pro V1, which for me is quite the accomplishment.

The MyGolfSpy one definitely. I replaced the Callaway headcover with a custom red white and blue one with my name on it. I didn’t like the Paradym headcover. Reminded me of material on cheap dress shoes!

Thanks for all the info on your fitting, Chuck! It was a really good read and knowing you got fit by a celebrity there at Pete's Golf is awesome! Anyone who listens to The Sweet Spot has heard of Pete's. 

I hope the Paradym performs wonderfully for you.

I agree with everyone in the headcover. It’s of good quality but definitely not my cup of tea. Luckily my MGS one fits like a glove and looks better with my bag.

It sort of has the “sham shoe” look of patent leather.

Quick update:

First on-course run for 9 holes with "X" this afternoon - have worked with it twice at the range - and didn't break any long drive records but did do better at getting off the tee today.

Out of 6 tee shots with the driver 4 were in the rough (2 right side and 2 left side) and all still playable; 1 was blocked right into trouble which was of course all on me; then 1 was fairly solid and hit the middle of an elevated fairway and rolled out to 230 .. which is pretty good for me.

Won't be playing again until next weekend in Pinehurst .. so more to follow after that!
