Broke out of the doldrums. Lovely day today with 70'F and light winds. Course is getting more fiery by the day. Hit a sweet 7i into the 1st thinking I was going to be putting for birdie, ball ran thru the back, leaving a tough chip that I duffed for a double.

Got out for an early round this morning before covering a late shift at work. The game was as close to my normal self as I've been since the injury. Probably should recalculate the handicap if I want an actual chance at coming out on top of one of these but it is what it is. Just glad to see the game getting closer to normal. The Edison 2.0 wedges were on fire today and my new Callaway Apex UW hit a 276 yard drive on a par 4 that plays downhill but it's still insane!

What a wild ride this round was... Started off really great with big drives on 1 & 2 and a front nine of 39. Holes 10 & 11 were ok but not great despite a massive drive of 344 on #11! Then came all the nonsense.... Quad on 12, doubles on 13 & 15, and sextuplet (yes a +6) on 17! OUCH!!! Then I finished 18 with a topped 3-iron, solid 7-iron, piped driver off the deck (good for 270 yards), a pitch, and two putts to finish with a bogey. All said and done, I went 39/54/93.

It was a beautiful day at Fort Benjamin Harrison.  Lots of Cottonwood snow as you can hopefully see in the video.  Scoring could have been better with more GIR, but overall a good ball striking day and I cannot wait to come back!

3rd round of the year and played better.  My coach asked me to focus on preshot routine and alignment, which improved my performance, but I still struggled with swing confidence.  Plus, walking and carrying my bag fatigued me on the last 3 holes.

Shot 79 again, but this time reversed the scores from the front and back the last time I played it. Again, crowded and slow play, but on a picture perfect 80+ degree F day it couldn't be beat.

One of my most curious rounds.  Had my 4th round in a row with < 30 putts.  I had 17 on the front and 12 on the back for 29.  

Started with a nice par 4 on number 1.  Made 10 on the par 4 second hole, hitting 3 balls into a hazard.  First three approach shots hit overhanging branches and dropped into the drink.  The 4th was hooked low and ran to the green where I two putted for my 10.  Bogeyed the par 3 3rd after I hit 8 iron a bit heavy from 157 short of the green about 3 yards.  The flag was on the front about 4 yards from the edge. My pitch to that tight flag hit the edge of the fringe and scooted to 12 feet past instead of bouncing and checking up near the hole.  My par putt skimmed the edge of the hole.  So I am +7 after 3, Not Ideal.  
 

Stabilized myself on # 4 with a par and played the remaining +1 from hole 4 through 18.  Made 2 birdies on the back and lipped out 1 other.  One really bad hole kept me from going low.  Such is golf….

Started out with a real cra**Y front which ended with a 51 , nothing, especially my driver felt right. Weird because on the range the best club was the driver. 

I was able to recover on the back with a 44. My woods and hybrids offset the continued non performance of my driver.
