While the names are the same, the business sectors are completely different.  Last week, as I was leaving the course, I ran across one of the Callaway-Bridgestone Run Flat twin Corvettes.  The owner and his wife were super nice and more than happy to talk about the cars and their history.

According to the owner of both twins, way back in 1992, Bridgestone ordered 2 Corvettes from the aftermarket boutique, Callaway.  One, a purple exterior, teal interior convertible.  The other a teal exterior, purple interior coupe.

One bit of irony, Bridgestone made the wheels for the twins to promote their Run Flat tires.  But they no longer make a tire in that size, so now they wear Continentals.
