Funny story with the irons I original played the Caley hollow body irons since coming back to golf in late 2021. I got down to an 11 handicap and thought it would be a good idea to buy a second hand set of ap2's. They killed my confidence within a week. I expected a loss in distance due to the more traditional lofts but very quickly found that (for me) the sweet spot could not be found. I've since traded those in for a set of 921's more forgiving for sure and the confidence is back.

The question is: Have you experienced something similar? Was it the irons or me

Welcome to the forums! Not finding the sweet spot in your irons could really punish your confidence. The Mizunos should do a good job of keeping that confidence built up.
