I have a new range about 30 minutes away with Trackman installed and im not sure if  its how its set up or what but in practice mode they dont display spin. Is there another mode that does, warmup maybe ? I am wanting to practice golf and not play pebble beach. All help appreciated, thanks.

Not sure what the setting should be, but it’s possible the have it setup for simulation.

The question tho is if you had the numbers available do you know how to interpret them, determine what’s causing them and then know how to fix the problem?

Having a trackman or other lm is nice but can lead down a bad path of chasing numbers

driver is giving me a fit , turns out my spin was to low I just want to practice and see what changes I make and the difference it has on driver spin. Irons have good hop and stop so its something with my driver

How do you know it’s low spin?

What changes do you think will fix it?

I went to a golf store that had a launch monitor and the spin was to low and just by changing balls I could manipulate spin and distance pretty drastically. I am not 100% how to fix it but I think my bum right/rear leg is lagging behind my faster arms/upper body during my swing and I closing my club face. I was hoping to find a way to see spin on trackman at the range I go to and try some swing changes to see what works, doesnt work or makes it work.

What was your spin? Where on the face do you make contact?

Spin can be manipulated several ways. The two easiest ways are more loft or a higher spin ball. Contact point on the face is another way. Changing the contact point on the face will affect spin too. 1/8” will result in 240rpm of spin. By moving the contact point lower it will add spin.

The bolded part where the issue comes when chasing numbers and self fixing. If you don’t know what’s causing it how do you know what change to make in the swing to try and fix it.

The hips lagging is a symptom not a cause. You have to identify the cause.

post a video and let’s see what’s happening and see where to go to try and fix it.

But I would add loft and see what happens, then add a spinnier ball and see what that does.

I had 3 surgeries on that leg last year including a hip replacement and it has nerve damage and that is the cause of the symptom of hip lagging, I know its weak when it comes to pushing off for my swing, contact is about a nickel sized spot just  SLIGHTLY  high and toey based on using the the stickers on the face several times since I got the G430 Max H/L, I rarely ever miss toward the heel but occasionally get it a little thin  but thats operator error swinging to hard almost every time.
