Agreed. And if you're Kirk Cousins you throw to covered receivers and just try to force it in. haha

The margin of error is miniscule, and accuracy is paramount. I think that's what sets Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes, Tua apart from a lot of other guys. They hit them in stride and on target almost every single time.

... Amen. I think it is almost unfair when an NFL team has a franchise QB for those very reasons. I remember quite a few games when the Bears had a good team and outplayed the Packers for all 4 qrts but two or 3 just insane throws by Rodgers won the game for them. As Bears fan and as much as I really hated Rodgers, I always respected his talent. Football is and always will be the ultimate team game but the truly special QB's can win basically all on their own when they need to.

... I have created a combo for my home course that works much better than just playing the normal Men's tees at 6403yds. That yardage is deceiving because there are 4 really short holes and 4 really long holes with 3 of them uphill off the tee. I was playing a combo of Senior and Mens but other than making the 4 really long holes more playable, too many of the Mens holes were too short and just not challenging. 

... I was playing with a friend in town for 3 days who is a long hitter and plays the tips. So instead of playing the Men/Senior tees combo, I played the Tips/Senior combo at 6423yds that is 20yds longer than the Mens tees and a lot more fun. Instead of par 3s at 150/163/115/170 from the tips they play 201/190/145/197. 

... The point being you can always make up your own course to make it more challenging or more fun or both.

Anyone else get overly excited when someone else you know gets new stuff? I just got a text from a guy I work with who just received his new TaylorMade Stealth irons and I'm like giddy he got them in. He's getting back into the game after years away and decided to get fit for his irons.

Terrible showing yesterday no doubt. I THINK but don’t know for sure that yesterday was a “gold” Season ticket game which is from the way old days when the Packers would play some games in Milwaukee. Fans are always worse at those games. Also a ton of Detroit Blue in the stadium last night. Pack got spanked, no way around it. I was prepared for an up and down year. Nothing has changed in terms of Joe Barry deploying a wet blanket run defense.

lol sorry @chisag but until Chicago has a real QB you don’t have any room to talk about QB play IMO he was not perfect today and like I said there’s going to be growing pains and ups and downs this year. Still 1/3 of the way there on career wins compared to Fields

... You are starting to sound like you are running for office. I know you are from Wisconsin but Wahtaboutism in football? I think nobody has been more vocal than ole chisag when it comes to Fields and not being able play QB in the NFL. So that's your measuring stick for Love? Justin Fields? Really? If you are satisfied with being 33rd best QB out 32 teams since Fields occupies 34th you have fallen a looooooong way from Favre and Rodgers. Let's have this conversation about Love next year when Caleb Williams or Drake Maye are playing for the Bears. The only thing Fields can do for Chicago is keep being Fields so the Bears get the #1 pick in the draft. 

...  And maybe they didn't teach you this in flag intramural football, but QB's don't have wins and losses. Teams have wins and losses. Packers fans ... sigh.

... Had my Financial Advisor outing at WeKoPa Saguaro Golf Course yesterday and it was blast. Paired up with 2 guys that didn't add many shots but when they did, they were lifesavers. I was just automatic off the tee and starting on a par 3 that I misjudged the wind, slid an 8 iron into the right bunker and a par 5 I over swung after they had a good drive in the fairway, we used 16 of my tee shots. I putted last and they gave me great reads all day and we finished 9 under. 13 under was the winning score. But the star was the golf course and you can see why it is the #1 public course inn AZ.
