Has to be cashmere Keith Mitchell or Joel Dahmen…Full swing reaffirmed why Joel is a man of the people.  Keith on the other hand is easily best dressed and most importantly, is Josh Allen’s partner for the AT&T PB pro am 🙂

Keith Mitchell's swing is real nice, and +1 for Joel. The Full swing episode confirmed what I had already seen of him

Love to see Joel Dahmen in the comments above... he is from my Grandparents hometown... Clarkston, Washington - and LOVED the Full Swing episode featuring him.
It is difficult to pick my favorite... Probably easier to pick my least favorites (but I will leave that for a different thread  ).
I do love to watch many of the guys mentioned above.  Fowler, Fleetwood, Finau - and I watched Scheffler in person at the Houston Open come close but just short - back before he was dominating the tour.
But I'm going to pick a couple of future "Schefflers" in my opinion..
Sahith Theegala, Cameron Young and Tom Kim.

Love Sahith. He was fun on full swing and just such a fun golfer to watch. Haven’t watched a ton of Cameron young but Tom Kim is a good one!

As a few others have mentioned above, Tommy Fleetwood is my favorite. His swing is like a much (much) tidier version of mine and he seems like a really cool guy from the videos I have seen him on doing challenges for DP world tour and Taylormade

I’ve seen the TaylorMade vids and he does seem like a really laid back. Have to watch more of him

PGA --- Ricky Fowler. A few years ago, he gave me a fist bump walking to the first tee, at Avenel (TPC Potomac, Maryland) and shot 66!

Sr PGA --- Joe Durant. (I think he was one of the first to use a yellow ball?) And I have had many beers with his brother Doug (who, I've been told, is a superb golfer too)

LPGA --- Lexi, Lydia and Min Gee Lee.

LIV --- DJ, Lee Westwood

DP W/T --- Marcel Siem, MIn Woo Lee, Tyrell Hatton

Full swing was so well executed and set itself up for what I’d imagine to be many more seasons. It was fun to learn about Sahith and get some decent behind the scenes footage that wasn’t as much tabloid drama as it was guys just letting their guard down.

Your post made me think.  As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I don’t have a favorite player on any tour or  really in any sport or the entertainment world.   The full swing series in my mind was just meh.   I guess I am more interested in the sport as a whole and things like the tactics and strategy rather than the individual participants.

And that’s ok!  I spent a lot of time in Jupiter and working in golf, so the personal stories are certainly interesting.

I will say as I age, my interest or infatuation with celebrities / athletes has declined. The PGA was recently held in Rochester and watching first hand, grown adults fawning over golfers was nauseating.

I think I’ll likely trend towards your viewpoint Chris, as I get older. Until then, Full Swing was worthwhile for me.

JT is my favorite.  Love his wedge work and just his golf swing in general.  Waiting on Cameron Young to break out a win.  Once that kid figures it out, he can be really dangerous out there.  I usually pull for the underdog, depending on who it is.  Suprised Fleetwood doesn't have a major, same for Cameron Young.  I'm also from SC so I always have enjoyed watching DJ play.  It really depends on the tournament and who is in the hunt.  Those guys are so good.  To see them in person is completely different than seeing them on TV.

Pretty easy question, for me it's:

PGA - Rickie

LPGA - Nelly Korda

My wife on the other hand:

PGA - Rory

LPGA - Lexi

You'll note there are no LIV players on either one of our lists.

Hard to pick a favorite.....these guys ALL play a game I am unfamiliar with 🤯  The zeniths of players is shorter because there's always the next 'One' a tournament or two down the schedule.

Watching Tiger hunt someone down was must-watch TV & he will always move-the-needle unlike anyone else....besides Jack or Arnie on the march.

Overall, I was a huge Payne Stewart fan. My fandom took a big hit when he passed 😢

On the weekends, if you get up early you can watch the European Tour on the Golf Channel.  So for a while I would get up and watch guys whose names I couldn't pronounce play some of the most beautiful courses in Europe.  Then one day this kid with Jesus length hair came on, and he played really well.  I've been a fan of Tommy Fleetwood and his golf game ever since.

Victor Hovland.  He appears to have a real positive attitude.  Always smiling.  Also, Rickie Fowler because of how he engages with the fans.

Not one favorite as all of them are good, if not they wouldn't be on the tour.

For me personally, I like Scottie Scheffler for his attitude, and understanding that all of them are humans too.

He seems "down to earth" and appreciative of the opportunities his golf career has given him, and also seems to have a demeanor when playing that as long as he tries his best, the end result even if he doesn't win, is what he deserved that particular week.

If only Scottie could putt!  Get rid of the Scotty, Scottie.

New MGS member here. Just trying to get to know and have fun with everyone. I'm curious who's everyone favorite Tour Pro? If you're inclined, include a rookie or obscure pro you've always liked.

My favorite Tour Pro is Viktor Hovland. Great young player, who's such a joy to watch for me. Even keel and always seems to be having fun. I'm not a fan of players who always look so mad.

Rookie/younger player, I like Sahith Theegala. Looks like a future star to me and he was really fun on Full Swing.

Let me know your thoughts!

Welcome to MGS.

Good call on Hovland. I have 2, Ricky Fowler just seems a nice guy and Hatton cause he wears his heart on his sleeve
