@Golfspy_CG2 been doing my best to bide my time and not sound like an overly anxious kid trying to get to Christmas day  buuuuut any word on a Ryder Cup competition similar to the Major contests?!? Or are you keeping us in the dark regardless to ramp up anticipation?

Absolutely. Some people just thrive in match play events.

House hold names are just hard to leave out if you've had success, which they have. It will be a crazy event. I don't believe either team made any mistakes with their team in my opinion.

At this point, I would tend to agree with you.  Good experience and some up and comers who have shown the ability to get it done.  I think it should be an exciting Cup!

I definitely agree. Although the final outcome will determine how much second guessing comes into play. One of the captains is going to take a lot of heat for their choices.

At Whistling Straits Lee Westwood (a household name and Europe stalwart) made it as the last automatic pick, piping Robert MacIntyre. He was interviewed after the PGA at Wentworth and his interview was just terrible full of apathy and basically was neither up nor down if he qualified. And it showed when he played.

Some people say europe will miss the LIV players, my views is that they would have been relying on a pick and after 2021 where Garcia, Poulter and Westwood contributed a grand total of 3 points out of a possible 10, there time has gone.

We are officially 2 weeks out from a greeting from Marco Simone Golf and Country Club. Teams are set. Long term weather reports are showing some rain and wind. 

What is everybody's prediction moving forward? Pick a side and a total!

I always pull for the USA, but think Europe will win. The USA needs to get away from selecting via the good ole boy (The Click)system.

How it always goes down for sure. One side will always take heat for the picks when they lose. Makes it awesome haha

He's been so good off the tee this week. Was fun to watch him and Theegala group on Friday. Don't have Peacock/Golf to watch the last two rounds sadly .

I think people don't realize how many distractions happen on the course during the Ryder Cup.  As an example. All the close family members are watching every shot from a golf cart following the group.  Being able to handle these types of distractions takes a ton of experience.

I Like Keegan as well, especially in the Ryder Cup.  His best was with Mickelson as his partner.  Since no Phil, may have been part of the decision process.  I am glad that JT looks as though he has found his game at the right time.

After watching the final round of the BMW, it looks like most of the Euro Team is playing well.  Two weeks to go, I hope that the Cup is competitive for both, not looking for the one-sided after first two days.

Looks like Scheffler has finally made a move to improve his terrible putting.   He's now working with putting coach Phil Kenyon at the Ryder Cup
