Dang... I don't know if I should be jealous or just POed. There's no club in my bag that's untouchable! Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty happy with my new Dark Speed X driver and Motore X combination that gave me back 18 yards on Shot Scope Average (OK, working hard on my sequencing to avoid duck-hooks had a hand in that as well) and 5 yards on Performance Average. But I wouldn't hesitate to check out other drivers if it could gain me more. I'm also still pretty happy with my JPX919 HM irons, but nothing so outstanding that I wouldn't hesitate to switch if I saw improvement. Same with my putter(s); I vacillate between an Odessey White Ice Saber Tooth and a White-Hot OG 1.   There's only 1 "thing" in my bag that's untouchable, and it isn't club. It's my 23+ year old Nikon Laser 500 range finder. It has worked flawlessly the entire time. I have friends who have had to buy 2 or 3 other models because theirs stopped working.

Now, to work on finding that club.......

This is a tough question! But I have to give the crown to my Callaway Paradym TD in 3 wood.
I am always surprised by my consistency and results off the tee or fairway with this club.Capturedecran2024-04-18a16_53_50.png.b29543e23b1dba8d142ceb71dd24aaec.png

Right now, it is undoubtedly my Titleist TSR2 3H. Off the tee, on the fairway (and occasionally from the rough) it has been consistent in trajectory and distance pretty much since I bought it.

TaylorMade r7 SuperQuad Driver (2007). Made in America. More forgiving and accurate (tighter dispersion) than my TSR3  and as workable. The SuperQuad has a Deep face with a perfectly symmetrical compact 460cc head and slight draw bias due to a very slightly closed face. If your misses are high on the face, this club corrects well for that. Looks brilliant behind the ball. The Movable Weight Technology has 4 weight ports and are better than weight channels as there is no "whistling" sound. It can be customized for low spin, high launch, draw and fade. Tight dispersion too. With a premium shaft, it's a beast. Have tried virtually every other driver but always go back to it.

TaylorMade Burner 5 Wood from 2008 with the stock stiff Reax shaft. It was the only club I could hit with any confidence back when I first got it (and was atrocious at golf); now that I can actually play I can just step up and generally pick a flight, know the distance, and know the window/descent angle I'll get. Great for landing soft on the green while attacking Par 5s or shaping around obstacles. Couldn't be more different than my 3-wood or driver (both HZRDUS Black 6.5)...but hey, it works and I have no reason to change it.

For me, it's without a doubt my RBZ Tour 3HL with old school Diamana BB shaft.  This is my money club on short par 4's or second shot into par 5 greens.  I can hit it a 250 yard roped draw that rolls for days, a 230 yard feathery cut that lands softer than a roll of Charmin, or just a dead straight tee ball any time I need to (just about lol).  I've tested this club against every new Callaway/Taylormade/Titleist metal for the past decade and I'm not losing much on distance.  It's just a nice fall back to have when I need to hit a clutch shot.  Sure, I would love to get rid of it since it's nearly 2 decades old, but I can't find anything to usurp it's throne.  This thread should also be titled: "If it ain't broke I'm sure as hell not gonna try and fix it."

The only untouchable club in my bag is my putter.  Have used it for over 10 years and no interest in using anything else.

Made the mistake a number of years ago got fitted for an Evnroll mallet putter and used for 3 months with horrible results.  Easy to get the putter on line but had no distance control.  Had my Mizuno putter with me after the first 12 holes and switched back to my Mizuno and putted great the rest of the round.  Gave the Evnroll to my oldest daughter.

Easy, my mini BRNR. Perfect fairway finder, easy to hit off the deck, and it looks so good. I took it out for one round since I got it and I regretted it the entire time. So far I did put a stiffer shaft it and it has improved even more. I also recommend everyone go try one out!

I really like this club too. Someone in my group had one and I hit a few times, it was great. Got me going down the rabbit hole of driver shaft length. Since then have cut 1" off my driver shaft. I like the smaller head and retro look, plus the head cover is cool. Has it completely replaced your driver? Were you having trouble hitting driver before this club??

My Taylormade sim 4 hybrid. I have no idea what it is about that club. I can't seem to miss with it. It's consistently around 205 with a tight draw. I jokingly played a fairly long par 5 with it and birdied the hole. On in 3 and putted once. When I'm playing like crap, it's the longest club I pull out of my bag for a few holes.

My putter, it's  an odyssey sabretooth with a super stroke grip. When I first got it it felt too light so I kept adding lead tape until I found that perfect weight. Than I noticed I kept hitting the toe in the green and missing right so I went to golf galaxy around Christmas time 8 years ago and had them change the lie angle for me. The guy hands it back to me and throws a ball on the putting green about 12 feet from the cup and I drain it. I said ok, he says that's it, I said that's all I need. So I asked him how much I owed and he looked at me and said merry Christmas. That's where I went for my last set of irons.

I have tried mallets , other blades , about anything that looks appealing but I  have always came back to the Ping . It’s a two putt machine and from 10 feet and in , I’m feeling very confident in making it . I have Odysseys , Scottys and others but they stay leaning on the wall in my man cave .
