I think for me it would be one of the LAB putters. very intrigued by them and everyone who plays them seems to have a lot of success. I'd probably custom order a blue head Mezz 1 max with the white graphite shaft - broomstick style.

It honestly would be hard to pass up something I could never likely afford on my own like GC4 or Trackman but from a more practical side it would likely be a custom fit set of irons with a more expensive set of shafts than I would otherwise be able to afford. I would be likely be looking at a mixed set of the new Mizuno Pro series , the 241s and 243s, with graphite shafts.

Boy, this is a FUN topic. Because of my recent infatuation with drivers and shaft upgrades, I would lean to a full custom fitting driver session with whichever head and premium shaft combo suited my swing the best. With cost pushing $1k+ with the custom fitting included, I would not be able to reasonably afford or justify the cost. However, for free, it would be an awesome experience.

So in the spirit of keeping to the rules I honestly think I would be walking out with a full junior set or womens set for my wife or son. Local shop includes 2ndSwing here in MN.  So I'm going with this Scotty 2005 holiday release.  Then I'm going to sell it and buy a used Mizuno ST-G 440 driver once I can find one and pocket the change.

I got my very first Titleist club recently (Titleist TSi3 20* hybrid) and very first hybrid as I only played with utility irons prior to that and it's simply amazing.

I'd go with a TSR3 driver or T150 irons!

Excellent Topic. I love @GolfSpy_APH idea but I would have paralysis by analysis. I would either say a Full driver fitting (never had) or a true L.A.B. fitting with the best shaft possible.

If I'm honest, I'd probably go with a set of clubs I'd never actually be willing to drop the kind of money they cost to buy. Whether I'm currently good enough to play them wouldn't matter.

Set of Miura's, Fourteen's, Seven's, etc would be my prize. Maybe with a set of custom JP Golf wedges to boot.

If I can’t take the sim home, I am getting a lifetime membership the provides unlimited use at the shop.   I know that is not in the spirit of the question so if we go on the assumption that I could buy any piece of equipment through the store my purchase would be:

Because that putter sells for 3 drivers, so at worst I'm gonna sell it for 2 drivers.  

What's better than a free driver?  A free driver plus a bunch of cash left over.

If I was a member of a course that allowed walking, it would be a motorized push cart/trolley.  I had a chance to use one a year ago when playing Gullane in Scotland.  Once I got a handle on the walking pace, it was needed addition for the 36 we played that day (following 24,000 steps the day before in Edinburgh).

If I was required to take a cart, I'd have to say a new range finder because I would use it the most on the course.

I live in podunk Alabama, the closest thing to a golf shop is a small tucked away corner in Dicks Sporting Goods That literally doesnt even carry but about half the major brands. If I had to o there I would have to choose from a small off the rack selection of irons or drivers , maybe one of the 3-4 base [ total] model Scotty Cameron putters.  If I was allowed to go to a real golf store I would hit the new Titlist irons and if they dont jump past my old ones I would either get a custom shaft for my Ping G430 driver , a Nicer Scotty Cameron mid Mallet or Mallet that I really like for me not talking resale value. Outside chance  Ping G430 5 wood with shaft upgrade.

Alright. So the rules say I can't take the sim, right? And I can't get a lifetime subscription to use the sim in the shop? I guess that means they probably don't sell customized golf carts either... Ok. Think equipment, Brian, c'mon - yes, its that difficult.  Well, my bag currently needs to upgrade the 22* hybrid so I'm getting a fitting of some sort and walking out with a new hybrid. (As I type that it seems so lame. But everything else has been updated within the last 2 seasons, including the actual C130 bag...lol) So it is what it is.
