Drank some of the highland scotch sampler. I'm really liking what port finish does to it and the cherry is okay too


Love a port finished whiskey. Gives it just a hint of that sweetness.

Well, the party was great!  I decided to stick with a local Cabernet wine, 14 Hands.  

Lots of food... potluck.  The hosts had set up a chipping area inside their 3-car garage, and the ladies chipped marshmallows off a mat to a hula hoop.  One lady made one in after 10 shots but it was more like a putt.  My wife went last and won... only took one shot to get it in the hoop.  Then their dog went after the marshmallows.  A Christmas ornament gift exchange took place after the dinner.

Chipping marshmallows had to be interesting and fun. However, I think the real winner was the dog that got to eat the marshmallows
