Had St Patrick’s Day dinner at my Parent’s house tonight. Only made sense to break out my distillery reserve for an Irish coffee.

I will be right over! My regular Sunday afternoon foursome includes a 6, myself, the club’s assistant pro and a 22.

Aside from being a great guy the 22 lives between the 14th green and 15th tee. He was gifted with a bottle of Glen 18 a month ago. We’ve stopped for a wee little dram the last 3 Sunday’s and killed it last week. The pro, 6 and myself have chipped in to buy him a refresh bottle and do a replay over the next three weeks.:)

My roommate my first two years of college was from Pottsville and his uncle was one of the brewmasters. I have seen parts of that brewery that most never will. I also have been a bit under the weather when I left there most of the time.

I like the 1792 Port Finish Bourbon, but I haven't been able to get it here in WA.  So, my last trip to the store I picked up a bottle of 1792 Bottled in Bond Bourbon.  Not bad.

I had a heated discussion about this too. If it’s out, I’m drinking it. And even though it’s called “Octoberfest” which makes you think it’s the whole month of October the truth is it usually ends the first or second Sunday in October!

It’s wrong. It’s still summer aka anything non winter fall (for me shandy’s but I’m still a hard liquor guy) it’s in the damn name if it’s septemberfest call it such! Summer is short enough let’s not prematurely write it off....out
