Ping eye 2 steel shaft removal..

Recommended Posts

So removed the shafts from Eye2 copper heads and they were Super glued in, the heads were basically glowing that's how hot they needed to be to remove them. I've never had to get heads that hot plus I think I've damaged the thread with the pressure required, I put the shafts into my brothers ping zing irons that he loved and hopes he will again. Fingers crossed it works out for him, my brothers 79 years young and between me and you can't hit the ball very far. But I enjoy helping him live a dream 💕

Older Ping irons and putter shafts are notoriously difficult to remove.   Putters had ball bearings inserted that you need to drill out and irons were pressed into place.
