JBones
I love The Fort and Brickyard. I played The Fort several times, it and Golf Club of Indiana were both on my frequent rotation. Winding River was my home course (I worked there too). Are you from Indiana? Follow @GolfspyBones

dru_
I have a bunch of customers throughout Indiana and have been seriously considering hitting some of these in my customer visits. Unfortunately the only city destination that is also close relation to any of the courses is Indy. South Bend, Seymour are my more frequent destinations. casey_0507
The Fort is an extremely fun course. Much hillier than I expected for a course in the Indy area. The Dye Course in French Lick is amazing (at least from what I hear), going there for the Seniors PGA during the end of May. The Donald Ross Course in French Lick is also a fun (albeit tough) course. apprenti23
Indiana is a very underrated golf state! Being so close to IL and playing collegiate golf in the Midwest I've had the luxury of playing many of their awesome courses. Spent a long weekend long before and now after the redesign of the hotel and golf courses at the French Lick resort and the dye course is magnificent and the Ross is no slouch either. Highly recommend if you were looking for a stay and play. So many to list... Crooked Stick, Harrison hills, The Fort, Rock Hollow, Wolf Run, Victoria National, The Warren course, Kampen Course, Sycamore Hills, Sand Creek, South Bend CC, Purgatory, and The Course At Aberdeen (used to work there). Max, I haven't played the Warren course, but I know it's hosting the US Sr Open, so it must be really good. I did play Blackthorn also in South Bend and thought it was terrific. Wondering if anyone has played both to compare them.
RexS
Played Coyote Crossing 1 time years ago. The greens were so freaking fast that my brother and I just kept chipping back and forth across the greens like ping pong. Putted everything past the hole if it didn't fall in. Fastest greens I have ever played. TheWahoo
The only opportunity I've had was when the son of some close friends was graduating from Purdue. The wife and I went to attend some parties. My bud and I got to play both the Kampen and Ackerman courses. The Kampen was the nicer of the two, but the Ackerman was much more enjoyable. Permit a humorous aside: Our friends gave their son a credit card for incidentals. They kept seeing charges for Harry's Chocolate Shop. They never knew that their son was that big a fan of chocolate. At their first parental visit they discovered that Harry's Chocolate Shop was a bar.

MaxEntropy
How was the Warren Course? worth the cost? Challenging? Bunch of us want to go out next month but Im the only one who consistently shoots under 100, will it be too much course for us? I thought it was very, very nice and it was challenging. I usually consider it a good day when I am in the 85-90 range, depending on the course. I shot a 93 with a big * next to it (we played some pretty "friendly" rules that day). I thought it was worth the cost and hope to make another trip there in the not too distance future. I could see where it might be frustrating for guys who usually hit in the 100's, especially if accuracy off the tee is the biggest problem. Not far off the fairways on a lot of the holes is tall fescue with very little chance of getting out of it even if you are able to find your ball. I hit a lot of 3 woods and irons off the tee to minimize that damage, but made a lot of the holes very long. Our perspective was we knew we were going to get beat up by the course, so lets go have some fun - hence the liberal rules. I hope that helps.
