MIgowfer59 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Hi! The design and engineering for this driver are a bit intriguing to me. Does anyone have any experience with this clubhead? tktmsa 1 Quote MIgowfer1959 Spoiler

03trdblack Posted May 25 Posted May 25 (edited) Unfortunately this driver has been removed from the USGA conforming list "719MW Driver Conformance Wishon 719MW Driver Conformance We are reaching out to our customers to provide you with an important update regarding our Wishon 719MW driver. As you may know, our driver underwent conformity testing by the R&A before manufacturing to ensure compliance with CT (Characteristic Time) testing regulations. We were pleased to receive confirmation that both the 9° and 11° models met the requirements to appear on “The List of Conforming Driver Heads”. However, after submitting the driver for consideration to the Golf Digest – Hot List, where all clubs undergo CT testing, an unspecified number of 719MW club heads were found to have a CT result at or just above the accepted limit. It will not surprise you that the clubs Wishon Golf submitted were considerably shorter in length than other submissions, necessitating a significant amount of additional head weight for swing weight purposes. The CT test, used by the USGA and R&A, is performed to measure the spring-like effect of the clubface to determine how much the face flexes upon impact with the golf ball. The CT testing protocol is a requirement for club heads to appear on the list of conforming heads and is recommended for use only as a Condition of Competition by Committees overseeing competitions restricted to highly skilled players (including top amateur events). Following the initial Golf Digest Hot List CT tests conducted by the USGA, the R&A conducted more sample testing on additional 719MW driver heads by adding more weight in the sole cavities of the heads. These tests revealed that at higher head weights, as identified during the Hot List testing, some configurations of the 719MW driver heads returned a CT result at or just above the limit. Consequently, the R&A has informed us that both the 9° and 11° models of the 719MW will be removed from “The List of Conforming Driver Heads”. Since receiving this notification, we've dedicated considerable time and resources to protesting the decision, presenting additional evidence to support the initial conforming decision, demonstrating that the COR measurement of the 719MW driver head remains unaffected by added weight, and that simply adding weight to the sole does not affect the flexibility of the face in any way. We have also repeatedly highlighted that the reason for the 719MW weight adjustment capabilities incorporated into this head design are strictly for custom fitting purposes. Despite these numerous discussions and presentations, the R&A has maintained its stance and opted to revoke the conforming status. We were notified by the R&A that this process was due to be completed on Tuesday, 7 May. However, due to Monday, 6 May being a Bank Holiday in the UK, the administrators at the R&A have now confirmed this date has been finalised as Monday, 13 May. Whilst we understand that this news may be disappointing, our commitment to transparency and accountability compels us to take action. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily suspend sales of the 719MW and its accompanying products. This temporary pause is intended to ensure that our customers are fully informed and to minimise the risk of any unintended purchases. At the time of sending this notification, we had aimed to provide you with an update regarding our plans for the future of the 719MW. However, due to the brief timeframe mandated by the R&A for us to make this announcement, we have not yet completed this process. It is our current intention to submit new versions of the 9° and 11° models for Conformity Testing. We are collaborating with our foundry and the R&A testing facility to finalise the necessary revisions and we will send out an update of the progress towards achieving these objectives in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience or concern this may cause and thank you for your continued support of Wishon Golf who remain dedicated to providing high-quality products that enhance the golfing experience for golfers of all abilities.
